perfect for campers
Great product. Need to be filled with lighter fluid once. All the outdoors people i’m my family loved these as holiday gifts this year.

Know what you’re getting
These things are great, if you know what you’re doing. It’s pretty intuitive but there IS a slight learning curve, but you get 5 for a low price so you can afford to experiment and fail until you get the hang of it. I’ve only had these for about a month, but I can say that they seem to hold fluid well without evaporation, and getting a spark is never ever an issue. Even without fluid you could use one to start a fire in a pinch, it will spray sparks with every strike. I’m a Boy Scout at heart, I always have a Swiss Army knife on me, I have a pocket pen attached to my pocket knife in case I need to write or make notes, and now I can always start a fire or light a candle. These are cheap mass-market trinkets, but they’re useful for sure.

Completely useless
Only got spark. Threads would not light. Suspect that there was no fluid. Also, no instructions as to how to refill the fluid, or what type.

Nice Emergency Match
This emergency match works off of kerosene or white gas that you would use in lanterns.Cons:Did not come with instructions.Does not light in the first couple of strikes but, it will light.Pros:The container does not leak. The wick is replaceable. The container provides a bit of fuel to start a fire if you need it.You will need a small syringe without the needle to fill the container. Be prepared to let the "match" soak in the fuel overnight. It will take several strikes and maybe a wick adjustment to get the match to light. To adjust or replace the wick just pull straight out on the flint. The wick is just folded in half and held in place by the flint.

Works, but...
First of all: it works. They come 5 complete kits in the order, as indicated. You just have to add a little of lighter fluid (like the Zippo lighters one), just a little. Now, what is the issue? First, that it has fluid on it. Someone that does not knows that, tends to turn it over and spill the liquid. You have to start like with a safet talk. Second, the o-ring on the base of the screw cap. It tends to move, and probably (whit the use) to break or to fall away. You would think that, for safety reasons, it is better to screw it to the end, but no.It works? Yep, works pretty well. I see it like a Zippo lighter deconstructed. It has the same principle. It's an permanent match stick. It's cool to use, I cannot say it doesn't, but be cautious on using it, and on carrying it.
