The Gruffalo and Friends Advent Calendar Book Collection (2022) Hardcover – Advent Calendar, 1 Sept. 2022

A lovey advent calendar at a reasonable price. The little paper-backed books in every day come wrapped in Gruffalo paper. A mixture of activity, and colouring books relating to our favourite Julia Donaldson books.My only thought would be that I would say it is aimed at children that are 4+, maybe even 5 years old. The listing said 3+ but the books are small for colouring and the activity books have word searches and things more suited to slightly older children.These books will keep us going a while!

I thought this year I wanted to change the usual chocolate advent calendar for something much more productive, and as my daughter loves gruffalo and most Julia Donaldson book, I searched and found this. It is amazing! Seriously the best investment in the past weeks. My daughter is going to love it. I also bought it quite cheap which was a plus, but even if it was full price I would have got it it anyways. The little books are made of really good quality and the printing is also very good, just like a normal size book, I do have to agree with some people that some of the activities are for older children probably 6, 7 but even though I think it’s brilliant. It’s big very well packed, I recommend this advent calendar 200%

I've bought two of these in anticipation of advent calendars for December. Taken to not buying much for the grand children as christmas day presents but rather things that can entertain them in the lead up to Christmas day. As such I don't buy chocolate advent calendars but something like a toy advent or as they will be in Reception and year 1 at school, who better than a Julia Donaldson Advent as they will know doubt be learning about the Gruffalo etc. This will give them plenty of books and judging by the size of it the books won't be that small either. Thought they might be the size of Mr Men books but I think they will be larger than that. Haven't taken apart to thoroughly inspect but I'm confident that it will exceed my expectations .

Complelty on me for getting too excited and not reading the description properly but these are activity books not story books. I was hoping for the story a night advent but I'm sure my son will live this just the same. 4 stars just to suggest maybe have 'activity book' in the title.

Fantastic early Christmas present for kids. Numbered 1-24 (not in sequence) in various colours, each day has a new book, colourful and vibrant. excellent for young childrenlearning to count and interest in reading/ activity book.

Great size My grandson will love this book..came packaged well and excellent value

This is a large hardback advent calendar, with small sized books, ideal for young children to carry about easily. The activities are fun and simple- things like doing a maze and colouring. I was slightly disappointed that it didn't contain 25 books with fun stories and poems based on the books, it contains mostly coloring books and activities that are beyond the ability of an average 2 year old, although they'll no doubt still enjoy doodling on them. It's really well priced and although it's not something you can re-use year after year, it's still a fun advent calendar and a very large size.

Cover/ad says "Advent Calendar Book Collection" - "Count down to Christmas with 24 mini books!"Julia Donaldson & Axel Scheffler are an incredible duo and are often part of our bedtime routine with kiddos.Thus, I was anticipating something much different! Perhaps I didn't explore the details of the purchasing ad thoroughly?These are mini, poorly designed and very, very repetitive ACTIVITY books.Lost interest at day 3.#momfail #boring

i really like the books and the size was a good suprise… but i only received 23 boks instead of 24 which is a bit disappointing:(

Well i was hoping for story books as the title of the advent calendar. I didnt read the detailed description that it’s activity books. They are nice but the book cover should be adjusted. Also, we received 23 books so i had to improvise in one of the days.

I was surprised when I received my package. It was a very big box. I was amazed on how big the calendar actually was. My nephew is going to love it! Thank you 😊
