Don't know why people are complaining.
I dont understand 99% of the complaints other reviews have regarding this nail clipper. It's a nano sized travel nail clipper - so of course it has to have a different design than a normal clipper to achieve that size. But honestly you lose maybe 10% functionality max on these.Pros:- Clipping has a crisp feel and clean cut.- Strong enough to easily cut through my big toe toe nail and thumb nails.- The cutting edge is wide and can do a thumb nail or toe nail in two clips (the edge is closer to a standard large clipper than a small clipper)- Footprint for carrying is SO much smaller than a normal nail clipper. Easily lost in pocket, sling, purse, etc. which is exactly what you want for a travel set. It's less noticeable than a pair of eyebrow tweezers, even when in the leather sheath.- Comes with a sheath to keep it folded up and the sharp edges from tearing things inside of a bag or pocket. It's probably not necessary as the design hooks onto itself keeping the clippers closed - but it could in theory get dislodged and open up in a jumbled bag or pocket without the sheath. Or a thing delicate fabric could still get caught without the leather sheath.- I had absolutely no issues getting the clipper to stay in the correct position on the spring while open, even in my nondominant hand.Cons:- The file is not very usable. It's so small that you have to focus on getting it in the right spots and the entire time your fingers are in the sharp part of the clippers to be able to hold the set in the right angles.- It's not as ergonomic as a full size set of clippers. BUT it's pretty dang close. I only noticed slightly when using my nondominant hand that my fingers were kind of in the slot on the back side which made it less comfortable than a standard set of clippers (But only slightly - nothing crazy or unbearable. Just enough to notice it).- The cost felt expensive. But the portability and build quality I think still make up for it if you're willing to pay a little premium for the size. You may or may not think the portability gain over a standard set is worth the cost though. I however find nail clippers to be one of the most reached for items outside of my phone and wallet. You may only need it once a month or even less but when you're out and you rip a nail it's sure nice to have a set like this in a backpack, purse, pocket or somewhere handy. To me it's worth that cost.

Quality
Very sharp, well made and compact. The two cutting surfaces mate perfectly. Only complaint is the nail file isn't great. It's a little recessed and in ki d of an awkward spot but I see that's the only place they had space for. Nice little leather sheath. Just note that although this is Keychain sized it has no hole for a Keychain or lanyard

Basically useless
I really wanted these to live up to their hype. They’re sleek and would fit perfectly in my husband’s jeans pocket (he always keeps a pair of nail clippers there?). But they just don’t cut? Like, they aren’t properly aligned or something? It’s really sad, because they seem like they’re so cleverly designed, but no one bothered to make sure they actually clip nails?

Very convenient!
Love to stash these in my purse. Super small but they work like regular nail clips. Genius design and super happy with them!

Nice form factor
Just make sure you look how to use it properly. Otherwise it won't clip!

I love it
It’s very compact and fits nicely in my wallet next to a small metal comb. The design is attractive and quality. The little leather case is a nice touch, though I don’t need it. Perfect to tote around and groom your nails in a pinch. I felt like it was pretty easy to figure out the right orientation for clipping, and the clipper does work on my finger nails. I probably wouldn’t use it much for super thick nails, but that’s alright. Will check back in if it gives me any trouble.

Well made
Good fit for finger nails. Too small for toe nails. Precision made and well designed.

Don’t waste your money
These are neat and flat, sure - but don’t actually make for good nail clippers. The “latching” mechanism is finicky, and it can take a surprising amount of pressure to cut a nail. A nail that would normally take one or two cuts will take 5 with this due to the size and positioning of the blades.I’m directly comparing it with the equally priced victorinox clippers that fold down to almost the same size - same price, same size, but works better to the point that what I thought would just be a pair of travel clippers ended up being my favored clippers. These, though - just awful. They technically work, but why would you do this to yourself? I mean they are worse than the generic bargain bin clippers I’ve used. But I guess they look kind of neat. So if you want to display nail clippers that don’t actually work well then maybe this is for you.
