100g Recycled Sari Silk Ribbon Yarn, Jewelry Making Trim - Yellow Mix

absolutely not the color expected based on the color title (orange ochre) or photograph–even keeping in mind how the color may vary. i feel the title should be clearer that it’s absolutely a fairly vibrant orange, and very little like ochre.plan ahead re: when you want to use them...you’ll spend A LOT of time untangling the skeins. i bought two. i’m planning on listening to a few podcasts while completing this task (and chuckling at the similarity between this conundrum and a girl from a childhood fairy tale who was punished by an evil woman to untangle a skein that broke at every touch 😆).that being said, i accept the unexpected color and am looking forward to the effect once what i’m doing is assembled. sari silk scraps are fun and lovely once they’re prepped.

I’ve purchsed three colors of this. The brown is beautiful and high quality. The grey is great. This plum color is garbage. Literally, I had to throw it away. It’s so threadbare that it broke/ripped/disintegrated in my hands as I was cutting it into strips. Fabric doesn’t do that. Paper does. This bizarre ‘falling apart’ also left a fine purple dust all over my table, chair, floor, and clothes. In short, it’s a disaster.

I bought 3 skeins in different colors for use in jewelry. Two of them are fine, but the black is very rough and heavy, more like dyed muslin. I even took the entire skein apart hoping to find pieces good enough for jewelry but didn’t find much.

I read other reviews after ordering and was worried, however this was a great product. It was a good price for certain and it was all usable for jewelry making. The colors are gorgeous and it is very soft. The only reason I am giving it four stars is that it was not all one continuous piece.

Love it! Yes it fringes but it’s expected

The color I ordered was "Deep Plum." It's actually very brown with a few strips of plum here and there. I will use it for a different project than intended.

Large amount of material for price, my only issue is that the color was supposed to be peach and it was clearly pink - I can use it, so it’s ok but I would have liked the color I ordered

Mine came with minimal shade variation, in fact it appears all the same colour blue, no differing hues, no variations, lots of tangled threads and tangled skein, unlike the the yellows/mustards and gold range I purchased from same seller.

Bought dark green mix, blush mix, orchid mix and light pink.The first 3 are brilliant, as described, good quality. Colours are pretty close and accurate to their photos. Happily 5 stars. But the light pink is nothing like the beautiful, almost purple toned skein in the listing. I've triple checked that they sent the right colour. Add a recycled colour I understand it's going to vary a little but this is too much. If there is this much variation, they need to photograph the range of colours that they deem "light pink".(I would have contacted the seller directly but amazon won't let me yet and there are time constraints)

Lovely bright colours exactly as illustrated by the seller. Arrived earlier than expected. I knitted the silk which is about 1 cm. wide as part of a handbag. I would buy again.

At first I looked at it and thought how the heck do I undo this? But I got there in the end 👍beautiful colour and you get lots all in all very happy with my purchase 😁
