Cool things:1. It looks pretty.2. That's it.Not cool things:1. The listing is a lie. This cup does not hold 20 oz of liquid. It barely holds 12. (Pictured. The kcup we have in there automatically prevents our keurig from brewing over 12.)2. It's EXTREMELY thin. And not in that, "OMG it's so lightweight and durable!" but more like... "OMG if I hold it too tightly its gonna shatter."3. The seller obviously doesn't know their own product. You cannot use it in the microwave and you cannot clean it in the dishwasher.4. This is not an official box. TYVM.Pro-tip: If you REALLY want this cup, buy it. But if you've got Hagrid hands, or Ron's insatiable appetite for food and drink, don't get it. Oh and if you're just a collector, don't waste your money.

Mug itself looks really great, However... Mug is very lightweight and extremely fragile. Almost feels hollow. I have only had it a week or so and already when HAND-washing lightly nicked it off another cup and a a chunk broke off.I recommend it for decorative purposes only.Had I know how light weight it was I would not have purchased. IF it was a heavier ceramic, it would be my favorite mug ever.

My HP Cauldron mug arrived today. I purchased it fully aware it is not microwave safe, though that is a bit of a drawback as my favorite beverage is hot cocoa, I will just have to heat my milk in another mug and pour it into this one. It's worth it though.It is very pretty, and looks exactly as pictured. It does seem a little bit light, as other reviews have said, which makes it feel very breakable. I will need to be careful with this if I actually wish to use it. But again I purchased this well aware of it's delicacy due to other reviews. Despite that, it is lovely and a great decoration for any Harry Potter fan, and a fun cup to use provided you are very careful with it.The only real reason I knocked off a star was because mine did not arrive in the nice display box as shown in the picture. Normally something like that wouldn't bother me, but as the very title of the object in question is "Harry Potter Cauldron Sculpted Mug in Official Box" I am a bit upset that it didn't arrive in said "Official Box" but in a plain white box with Styrofoam. In fact, on the plain white box it came in, they spelled cauldron incorrectly and actually corrected it with a black marker. I only knock the star off due to not receiving what was advertised because otherwise I am happy with this mug.Otherwise, I would recommend this adorable mug to any Harry Potter fan.

This item was purchased for my granddaughter who is a huge Harry Potter fan. Although the item description states that it comes in the "official box," the mug arrived in a very unofficial white box totally unsuitable for gift-giving. On the bottom of the mug there is a sticker stating to "hand wash only" even though the official box in the item description states that it is dishwasher safe. Lastly, there is an imperfection/paint chip on the handle. This item will be returned. I would like to purchase it in the future if there can be a reasonable guarantee that I will receive the item as described!

Purchased this Cauldron mug to go with a Harry Potter X-mas theme gift I was giving, and they loved it. It's being used on nearly a daily basis to enjoy their magical brew of COFFEE! None of that pumpkin juice nonesense, they prefer straight up caffeine.That being said, it was reported back to me that they love the move but feel like it a bit more fragile that your typical coffee mug. I was surprised how light the mug was when I got it from Amazon, so either the mugs material is different, or the walls on the mug are thinner. Either way, I felt that this was an important detail to mention, as it might affect how it's handled.I was also informed that the mug cannot be put into the dishwasher. Another point I didn't realize prior to purchase or gifting the item, but was noted when they read the bottom of the mug as the first use.Overall, the Potter fan still loves the mug, they just have to treat it a bit more gingerly than a typical household mug.

Cool looking, can’t wait to use it! Sucks it isn’t microwave safe. Only thing unhappy about is the logo or picture is pretty uneven and sideways. Anyways it’s a nice cup and perfect for what I need it for. Would definitely recommend for any harrypotter fan.

This arrived with a broken leg. I failed to notice inside the 1 month return window because it’s a Christmas gift - so I put it in the closet when I got it. Noticed when I pulled it out to wrap.So, don’t be like me. Check it when you get it!This is very light-weight and fragile. Not safe in the microwave or dishwasher.It looks good - mine did have a couple manufacturing flaws that are not very noticeable and are cosmetic. The feet of the mug also leave indentations in the bottom of the mug that will be hard to clean.I just wish this was made a little heavier and more durable.

I purchased this for my mother who's a huge Harry Potter fan. She loved it as a display piece, but never used it as she thought the angle of the lip was weird, and the the handle felt fragile. It also seemed smaller than her other, regular mugs. I wouldn't buy this as anything but a display piece.
