Solid belt with useful locking mechanism
I picked up this belt to replace my 20-year old belt for use when doing squats and heavy deadlifts. The velcro with my old belt basically couldn't hold its grip and popped loose several times in the middle of lifts. I prefer a nylon belt with velcro rather than a leather one with pre-set holes and buckle. This new belt is somewhat thick and a bit stiff with its leather components, but still relatively comfortable - characteristics I was looking for in a new belt. The locking mechanism is intended to be a fail safe in case the velcro comes undone because the slack of the belt should remain tight against the locking bar. Because it's a new belt, the velcro still grips tightly, so I haven't had to put the locking mechanism to test, but it provides security if needed. I believe one of the main complaints with this belt is because there is a locking bar in the buckle, you can't make the belt super tight by pulling the end because the locking bar catches the belt in a way that you can no longer pull on it to tighten. I think the best way around that is to suck in your gut and overlap the thick portions of the belt as much as you can to position it tightly, then pull on the belt slack as much as it allows and velcro it down. That should give at least a couple inches of tightness on the belt that you otherwise would not have gotten if you just tried to pull the belt end as much as you can. Note because of the locking mechanism, you need to lift the buckle a certain way to loosen the belt after a set. Not easy to do at first, especially when you're gasping for air, but easy enough to figure out with practice. Overall, pretty solid belt and has worked great for my purposes.

Awesome company and awesome belt
This is a solid weightlifting belt. Very comfortable to wear right now out of the packaging. I love the locking pin in the buckle; I feel very confident in my heaviest lifts without having to worry that the belt will give out on me . It is easy to take on and off and is very well made. I had sizing issues at first . I reached out to the company and they took care of me . All in all I am totally happy with my purchase of this belt.

Great Weightlifting Belt & Customer Service
The quality of the belt is very good for the price you’re paying. It’s sturdy enough to wear for big lifts and also comfortable enough to wear for any METCON. This weighting belt will not disappoint!Once I tried on the weight lifting belt, I realized I needed to change the sizing; I reached out to their customer support team, and they emailed me back within an hour and sent me a new belt. Awesome customer service and awesome gear. I will definitely be purchasing more items from them in the future!

Very good waste belt and Great customer service
I received hybrid belt in 2-3 days. It is very sturdy, well made, and has a nice design. It has self locking mechanism which is great.I bought the small waist belt. My waist is 32" and the medium starts at 31" so I thought medium was too big. I contacted the seller because other reviews said the customer service was good. Less than a day later, I received an email from Rachel and within two days, she contacted me saying she would exchange the size. She was very helpful and care. This is the first time I have seen a company with such great customer service. If they have such great customer service, I think I can buy other products with confidence and I will continue to do so. Keep up the good work.

Decent belt
I do Olympic lifting. I like my belt to be tight and a little firm. I also like it to last more than 3 months. I have only used it a few times but seems it may fit my qualifications. I had been using 2 pood and the velcro wears out quick and if you cinch thoose up tight the folding part crinkles up and never is the same. I have about 4 of them that are dead soldiers. My hope is this one is tight and durable. I have to hold the clamp open to get it nice and tight. It stays though. Hopefully with practice and a little more break in it will be fine. It is thicker than nylon belts but not as thick as a Powerlifting belt. I was on the line for a size and I sized down and it was the right choice. It does sit right on my hip bones and touches my ribs. We will see with break in as the leather softens how that works out. With a nylon one they are soft and it doesn’t matter.

Hybrid Leather belt
My 15yr old Son got one of these in medium for Christmas from his Aunty after I did a review of the weight belts that are on the market. The belt is very functional and easy to use with great support. I was amazingly surprised and ordered a Large one for me. I like how it rolls back up and goes into the bag it came in. These are great for all ages.

Velcro lasts a month
The belt is sturdy but the Velcro barely lasts a month. I like to loosen between exercises (think circuit) but the strap Velcro just dangles. Only a portion still sticks but only when pulled in all the way
