Big, Tough and Awesome
This foam tape is awesome. I bought it needing it for 3D card crafting. When it arrived I was astonished how BIG this was. At first I worried thinking it must be some sort of industrial tape so I ran back to my puter to reread what it was. So I tried it for some of my greeting cards embellishments and the tape stuck extremely firm and well. I could not pull it off without any other layers or pieces coming with it. It comes in a cello bag and I worried about how I was going to store it bc the bag is not one of those that has a reusable flap. Once it is open I think it was going to stay that way. I happened to have a big and stronger cello bag and put it in there to keep it safe and fresh. I am uploading a picture of the roll and a few items to compare the roll. One of the items compared is a regular sized scissors, a small have a happy day desk item and the last one is a 6 x 6 craft paper pad. The roll comes with a dark blue piece of tape to show you where to start your roll. I have kept this and reusing it to reveal where the roll begins. One problem with this is that as most craft rolls have is the SIDES of the roll sometimes have stickiness to them. I have heard you can dust it lightly with powder to lost the stickiness, but I just don't want to take the chance that some of the powder pieces might have migrated into the pieces I need and ruin them. So I just keep it in my cello bag and I am happy. If I ever run out of this roll I would purchase again because the strength of the adhesive is really strong for my uses in the card community. I bought the .75 width and am happy with that. Also, I use a very sharp scissors and can cut through the piece of tape easily thus, making a smaller piece. Great Buy!

Very clingy but the price is attractive
The price attracted me but the tape is very, very sticky and irritating to use as it sticks to your fingers, hands, elbows (haha) while working on a project. The backing tape is also a little difficult to come off entirely and kept tearing. Balance these little fusses with the price compared to the Scotch then make your own decision. It does the job. I like my brands and would rather work with the Scotch but I may change my mind as I use this roll a little more. Maybe it will grow on me (might be literally since it is so clingy:)EDIT: I came back to add to this review because when it was time to buy again I came back to this. The price is unbeatable and I have learned to live with the little annoyances. Use a non-stick scissors for cutting. It does not tear easily. The backing was easier to peel off this time also. If you use a lot of this as I do in making handmade cards, then this is the way to go without bursting your pocket.

Not Great for Card Making
This might be just fine for other things, but it's not great for card making. I was hoping for an alternative to the $40 Scotch 3M brand and this was priced right. However, I spent more time trying to get this stuff unstuck from my nonstick scissors than I did making the entire card. It was either stuck to my fingers or stuck to my scissors. I do tutorial videos so timing is very important. I returned this and paid the higher price for the 3M double sided adhesive. It just wasn't worth wasting so much time. But I pay a lot of attention to detail, I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my cards so this might be ok for some. Might have to try it out for yourself.

Compares to the other brand name
I needed some foam tape for some homemade cards I was making but I didn't want to spend the big bucks that that other Big Brand Name costs. I mean, it's double-sided foam tape. It isn't gold, for heaven's sake. So I gave it a try. And whattayaknow? It nearly identical. So what if it doesn't have that green-and-white plaid backing on it. You're just going to peel it off and throw it in the garbage anyway.Bottom line:Great foam tape/adhesive.There was a two-week wait to receive it, but that wasn't a big deal. I wasn't in a hurry to receive it.The picture shows two small rolls but what I received was one large roll. Again, no big deal. Will I buy it again? You betcha! Especially if they keep the price low.

This stuff is REALLY sticky!!!!!
I bought this because it was a third of the price of the name brand material of the same width and thickness. However, it is way too sticky to deal with, even at such a reduced price point. It sticks to your fingers when you are cutting it. It sticks immediately to card stock when placed - you better have it exactly where you want it. It even stuck to my Tim Holtz 'non-stick' scissors and it took me more than 10 minutes to get the adhesive off the blades using alcohol. I will use the rest of it, because I don't want to waste it, but will replacing it with the 3M tape. It also does not tear as easily as the name brand tape, which alone would not stop me from using it. The extra work and aggravation involved with using this is not worth the savings in cost.

Great quality for a very low price.
In my opinion, just like 3M foam tape for a third of the price. I received the tape today and gave it a try. Same thickness as 3M foam tape. The lining was easy to peel off. The tape must be cut - it doesn't tear, but I don't consider that a problem. Overall, a big win! BTW, the roll diameter is 11 inches. I'm storing it in an extra large Ziploc bag.

Tape works great for a variety of around-the-house applications!
Using this tape to lock large picture frames into place.Let me explain: I have created a fairly large museum wall in my entry/hallway. Some of the picture frames had to be hung with only one screw, so they tend to drop to the left or the right when one of the cats bats at it; during a thunderstorm; or even when a big truck goes rumbling by outside. What I did to avoid that is put two inches of tape behind each frame on each side to lock the picture into its assigned spot. No more drooping to the left/right. Just perfect alignment of all 12 pictures as I had mapped them originally. The picture frames are metal, some are wood; the wall to which they are affixed is painted wood-paneling. There has been no problem with things staying exactly in place. One mistake I made was easily fixed; the tape came off the wall without a problem. So, I am looking at a variety of applications for this tape, including taping up a "leaky" window frame in one of my upstairs bedrooms.

Good quality at a good price
This foam seems very much like the Scotch brand tape at a fraction of the price. It doesn’t tear well though. The adhesive is strong, in fact sometimes it sticks when I haven’t quite gotten my paper layers in the right place but that’s my fault. Just shows how strong the adhesive is. I use it for shaker cards and to add paper layers to other paper and mixed media products. I’m over half done my roll so I’ve already bought another roll.

Waste of money
The 1st roll I ordered was great, huge roll and I am half through it so ordered 5 more knowing it's a good product. What I got was anything but good. 1st pic shows the shape 1 roll is in, not useable. 2nd pic shows a roll with grease on the tape inside package, 3rd pic shows my half used roll on top of new one. Not only did the price go up, but the size was cut in half too. The new roll is about the size of my half used 1. Last pic shows all 5 rolls standing beside each other. No 2 the same size, and 1 noticeably smaller. It looks like every few minutes they shave more length off the size of the roll. I am finding another company to buy from and returning these. Recommend the same to you! 5th pic, company to avoid!

Sticks excellent and the backing is super easy to remove
Found my new alternative to the 3M mounting tape which is ridiculously over priced! It is slightly narrower but thats a small price to pay. Sticks excellent and the backing is super easy to remove. I use this for adding dimension to papercrafts.

Worked great as glazing tape.
I used it as a glazing tape for patio door glass. The foam tape was very sticky and the paper backing was easy to remove.
