Great color & coverage
The media could not be loaded. Love this brand! I used this gold to repaint a pleather corset for a costume. Only needed two coats. Works better than plaid fx as far as opaqueness on the first coat. It’s also flexible so it won’t crack from the pleather stretching.I’d recommend this to cosplayers who make their own costumes.

Coverage
These shoes were originally a metallic silver color. I forgot to take a picture of them before I started. After wiping the shoes off with acetone, I apply three thin coats using a regular small artist paintbrush. The shoes came out fantastic. I haven't worn them yet as they're for a special occasion so I don't know about the durability. I made sure to let the paint dry 12 hours before I applied the next coke. I love how smooth the finish came out.

Great shoe paint
Can't find the perfect rose gold shoes? Buy a pink or tan pair and give them a rose gold update with Angelus paint! Why did I only give this 4 stars? Well, the color is more coppery orange than rose gold imho. And results are hit or miss depending on what your starting with. I have done three pairs of shoes. One was turning hot pink into rose gold on untreated leather - thumbs up and turned my girly shoes into a more elegant color with just two coats. Another pair was originally a metallic bronze in which I added just one coat. The bronze to rose gold transformation was stunning!! The third pair I have photographed here...and ugh, the results were horrible! The shoe on the left has two rose gold coatings over white leather and it was really streaky and terrible coverage. So what I did was pick up another Angelus paint in Salmon color which you can see on the shoe on the right. The salmon covered up the shoe really well. In the photo you can also see a leather bracelet that was also originally white with two layers of salmon coatings and two layers of rose gold...and voila! Finally, the results I was looking for. So, my recommendation is to use a base color first if the original item Is not already close to a rose color for better application and results. Also, the final color is a little too peachy for me, so I think I'm going to try to use Angelus in Mauve as a base coat on my next project and see if I can make it more pink and less orange.Tips:-Tape off what you don't want painted.-Use a flexible brush-Thin thin strokes and thin first coat - no need to try to get it all covered in one coat, trust it will get there!-Let it dry between coats (if it's even at all sticky, let it dry more!)-Finish it with a finisher or clear wax (the paint is really flexible and has a nice sheen on its own, but this would be good to protect your end product!)Enjoyed doing this transformation. I wish Angelus had a black metallic/pearlesecnt :)

Wow this was worth every cent!!
I went to a shoe repair shop to have these dyed in gold. I was given a hefty price of $85 to do it. NO WAY I’M PAYING $85 to dye a $50 pair of shoes. Amazon to the rescue!! I found this shoe dye on amazon and decided to try it. Well this is the result and I love it!!!!

Working on a costume product. Covers well… quite liquid so take your time and do multiple coats.. dries fast.. would definitely buy again if I need the silver on leather.
