Things to consider B4 buying
In a nutshell - this works fairly well if your hair the right length (see below). There are some things potential buyers might want to know before buying this item . . .Pros:It's quick and easy - IF your hair is mid-length down your back. My hair was (note the past-tense - LOL) down to my waist. I had to cut about five inches off my mane to use this.Cons:First thing to be aware of regardless of how long your hair is - after wrapping your hair around "The Wrap," what makes it hold your hair into a bun shape is a wire inside it. You bend "The Wrap" into a circle shape to hold the bun. Kind of a no-brainer, but this might give some potential buyers pause . . . any wire, no matter how strong, is going to break after repeatedly being bent and straightened. Mine lasted about four months, and that was with using it maybe 3 times a month. Eventually, the wire is going to break and, assuming you like "The Wrap" enough, you're going to have to replace it. Yeah, I know, a lot of other things that we use on our hair also break - but most of those other things don't cost nearly as much as this and they last a lot longer. Just something you might want to be aware of ahead of time.Second thing . . . and I'm not sure this really qualifies as a "con," but some might want to be made aware of this before purchasing. With longer hair (waist-length), the bun is so heavy that it pulls on your scalp and tugs on the hairs that are carrying the weight of the bun (translation: loss of elasticity for those hairs). If you have truly long hair, your past experiences are probably making your 'gut instinct' say 'yeah, I was thinking that might happen' - but then all the glowing reviews might make you doubt your gut feeling. Trust your gut. If you think your hair pulled back in a bun is going to be so heavy that it's going to pull on your scalp, you're probably right. However, there is a 'fix.' You just have to use some bobby pins to secure the top of the bun to your head, or use two of the clamp kind of holders at the top of the bun to help carry the weight. That will help reduce the 'load' on your scalp. But, for some, having to do those extra steps might make you feel like this product isn't worth it. I can put all my waist-length hair in a bun and only use one of those hair clamps to hold it in place, so having to use this product plus some clamps or pins kind of defeats the purpose of this product - in my opinion.Another thing to note for those with waist-length hair - it is extremely difficult to get your hair wrapped onto this thing. Simple logistics. Your arms just are not long enough. LOL I have 'monkey arms' (hey, quit laughing at me!) and I couldn't get my waist-length hair wrapped with this gadget. As I mentioned above, I had to chop off 5 inches so my arms would 'reach' far enough to wrap my hair around this thing.A product that works better for me is the Oscar Blandi Pronto Styling Pin. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009T8J0VO. It makes a spiral bun, instead of a donut shaped bun, but it does hold even my waist-length hair very securely and I don't have to mess with additional things to hold the bun in place. It doesn't pull on my scalp at all.All that being said, I did like the appearance of the low 'sloppy' bun and opted to buy another "The Wrap" when the wire in my previous one broke. I tend to use clamps or the Oscar Blandi Pronto Styling Pin more often than "The Wrap," but "The Wrap" is nice to have on hand for a change.

Perfect for a polished hairstyle on a lazy day
I have long hair with shorter layers so it took quite a few tries to get the hang of using this properly. However, each time I successfully use it, I seem to have a different experience. Sometimes the bun is so top heavy that it pulls away from my head a little bit, causing it to look like a fake hair accessory but I remedy the situation with a bobby pin. Sometimes I have difficulty getting the two sides to meet perfectly to make the bottom of the bun so I will have to pull more hair around or use a bobby pin to secure the two sides together well enough to cover up up the Wrap Up. I really like the look of the bun it creates. Sometimes I will twist my hair up myself or just wrap it up into a messy bun so I call my Wrap Up bun the "professional bun." I do wonder how long this will actually work though. Every time I take it out of my hair, it's a little bit more of a bent mess and I have to take a minute to do my best to smooth it back out. I would say that it the wire inside will probably bend or warp within a couple months of use, if even that long. However, I will probably buy a replacement if this happens. It's definitely a life saver for second (or even third) day hair.

Great product but for longer hair
I originally saw this product on The Today Show. I thoroughly read the reviews and most people said shoulder length hair worked great with it so I decided to order it. I figured for the price it was worth a try. It shipped and arrived on time from the supplier as promised. It is well made and a great design and concept. However, my hair is just past my shoulders with some layers and after reading the instructions and watching the video on line pieces of my hair still fall out on the bottom. I tried not putting it in a pony tail with an elastic as instructed and it worked a bit better but my hair is just not long enough. I think this product would be fantastic for someone with longer hair for sure. I would have rated it 5 stars but I just don't love it...yet! It has inspired me to grow my hair a little longer and I will try it again a few months from now. If someone with long hair has given this product a low rating then they are just not using it correctly.

Love it, Just Should Be Cheaper
I love the Wrap up and probably see myself wearing this thing out real quick, which is the problem. For $13 I would expect it to feel stronger, but I could see this thing wearing out real quick or breaking. If it were like $7 I would be fine with that...but I can't imagine it will last more than a year. It DOES however make it very easy to do your hair, but if your hair is layered like mine, you still have to use pins. What I found out and loved was that I just blow dried my naturally curvy/wavy hair. I didn't blow dry it straight, just wanted to dry it out. Immedaietly after doing so, I put my hair in The Wrap and went to work. When I got to work, I took it down to fix (damn windy city) and realized my hair looked looked perfectly blown out, beautiful layers and all. So not only does it give quick easy buns, but quick and easier blow out looks lol
