Big Game Baitcasting Reels 33Lbs Max Drag Low Profile Baitcaster Fishing Reel

Bought 3 Reels for Swimbaits over 2 oz, cast with ease and accuracy, no birds nest and bombs the baits far. Braid to leader on 8 ft rods. I use my thumb to stop the spool instead of the breaks on the reel.

I tuned the resistance and wind to my lure weight accordingly. Seeing how fast it dropped and the resistance was super touchy. When I casted the reel halfway engaged the bail grinding the gears to a pulp. Would not buy. The drag would not adjust up or down and would only be about 15lbs out of the box.

If you where wondering it is not metal I did not have any issues with the drag the power knob feel cheap good replacement gumexes knob over all very good runs smoothly for the price it good

I ordered three to mount onto my Zebco 2 piece catfish rods. They look the part and in spite of the mixed reviews, none had the drag issues some buyers reported. I think one may have been returned bc it had chipping on the line spool. I suggest keeping the parts booklet included in a safe place. It is written in asian characters only; however a good reel repair shop should have no problems restoring it if necessary...I think. Good luck making contact with the manufacture, I could not find any info on the box, and the manual. The real test will come later in the season when I hook into something bigger than a shoebox.

I fish professionally as a boat captain in San Diego.I bought this reel for bass finesse fishing.It never cast rite ,reeled rite ,or drag smooth.I put 12 lb maxima line on it 1/4 to 1/2 oz head.Cheap plastic cruddy reel.Dont even think about this thing

my 3 cast of a 1 ounce jig and the side of it blew off reeling it in and spool shout out the side and fell in the water so i had to hand line in the entire spool and wasted $30 in braid line been fishing hard for 30 years and have never seen one do this. i knew it was cheap but would have thought it would have caught at least one fish. junk absolutely junk did i mention it’s junk don’t waste your time it’s junk let that new rod wait tell you save up for a decent one

Only used it a handful of times but seems to be okay for the money.

Piece of junk, not 33lb drag as advertised. I could pull the line by hand with the drag down. Reel is also, clearly, poorly spray painted and doesn’t have a tight seal. Side plate just twists off and doesn’t have a locking mechanism. Don’t buy this trash, you’re better off with $50 Abu Garcia. UPDATE: took it to test and the gears went out on the very first fish, very grindy retrieve and lock up. Threw it away. Waste of money.

Not happy with this real drag system very weak. Tried to contact company four times and yet to have a reply would be nice if you could get parts to maybe try and get the drag system to work if not, at least make an attempt to contact me very disappointed.

Ich weiß nicht wie man sich über diese Rolle beschweren kann, es ist eine sehr gute baitcaster für das Geld. Unter anderem besitzt sie eine erstaunlich hohe schnur Kapazität also auch eine Wurfweite. Zudem wurde sogar ein 2er griff mitgeliefert. Also ich bin wirklich sehr zufrieden.

This reel LOOKS THE PART - TO MAKE THE SALE. I'm not sure why l buy these reels, hope of a bargain ? ..... I use ABU ( old SWEDISH) for " proper " fishing, when quality and reliability used to be expected and received. This reel certainly looks great.......but the materials and ' feel ' are literally like an Airfix model kit ! I am not being hyperbolic. It feels like a " model " of a reel, VERY light and ' plasticy ', even more so than the £12 baitcasters. The " Aluminium " is the spool NOT the frame. The handle was bent into the drag star which was rectified by bending it straight which was done with little force..... Yes, l will fish this reel but only for lightweight fish like a flounder in the river. If you are after a REAL reel, l would absolutely recommend going for a big name manufacturer that we have been more than happy with for over half a century.
