Using a piece of nichrome as a load the voltage starts at about 12.3 volts and then Falls to just under 11 volts as you get close to a two amp load. It started to hum from about 1.5 amps to 2 amps. This could be because it's a resistive load but it made me not want to try to make it pull more than about 1.5. However only drop in down to 11 volts at its Max load seems to be pretty good for such a cheap Transformer

With the indicator light the folks do not need to use a multimeter to see if the supply is working.

Excellent Product

I had no way to use my laptop. I had a similar cord but it broke somehow and so I had to find something pretty quick. It works great!

Easy to use

This came unceremoniously in a plastic bag, but all the parts were there. The seller or manufacturer might think to improve that aspect, as first impressions of this isn’t great.The individual pieces (“tips”) that adapt to different power inputs fit snugly onto the holder, & were easy to get off then put back on that holder that keeps the bits from being lost.Same for the transformer’s power end, it “plugs” into the different “tips” with a bit of effort, so that it makes a tight fit rather than be loose & promote the tip in use to just fall off.30 watts is a good chunk of power, & these days we find more & more devices just can’t operate with power sources lower rated than 1 AMP, so the flexibility of this unit is appreciated.I checked this on a couple three things laying around, & it “adapted” with minimum fuss & got the job done.They include a little tiny “screwdriver” that helps you change the setting dials, so basically you have everything you need to adapt & use this product “right out of the bag”. That translucent bag everything was packaged in isn’t easy to see a small part like this, I just about missed it was in there, cause it is not on the tips holder but rolling around by itself loose.I checked for heat during the 10-15 minutes I tested each of the 3 test devices, & it did not seem to be overheating during actual loads.These are good for keeping around just in case a power supply you have goes out or you somehow misplace one.This product is fine, I usually store these types of electronics, each, in a moisture proof zip lock bag, each, marked with their intended volts & polarity, put into a “stand by power supply box”. Folks in my household are thankful these are collected & marked where they can get to them when they need one.This unit, however is now added to my evacuation survival emergency preparedness tote boxes, as it could be a good thing to have during an extended period away from home, to power radios, recharge flashlights, & so forth. We have been on alert for some weeks, this is a good “just in case” tool to have should we need it.

Works as expected. Great value for pk of 5 compared to just getting 1. Plug in and go.

La fuente entrega menos de 1amp, al conectar al equipo para la cual compré que consume 2 amp , No funciona. Sin embargo yo tenía una fuente de 12 volt 1 amp al ponerla funciona correctamente. En resumen compré 4 fuentes y ninguna sirve, la etiqueta no indica la realidad EVIDENTEMENTE es un producto FALSO
