Bought to replace OEM felt mat (dust magnets). I got the Cork/Rubber composite version to eliminate static & skip from vibration. Performs as described. Some customers posted reviews about it clinging to albums when removing them (I didn't experience this with this product). I found if this should ever occur, gently lift one side of the album to break the suction. Some mats have an indentation in the center (where the dead wax is) to prevent such occurrences; this mat doesn't have the indentation.The spindle hole was a bit snug. so I made it a little larger & it fit perfectly. When I first installed it I noticed albums were unlevel like they were warped. I flipped the mat over, made sure it was completely engaged with the turntable; this corrected the problem. Apparently there's a wrong side & a correct side. Overall. for the common consumer, I'd recommend investing in a cork/rubber composite replacement mat over felt, OEM rubber, plastic, glass, etc.NOTE: I wouldn't recommend this for a suitcase-type record players. Turntables are smaller than a 33 1/3, so some of the mat will hang over the edge, plus you can't close the lid, and some OEM mats can't be removed. Also, I wouldn't cut it down to fit either. This product is designed for full size turntables. It is a lighter color than in the picture.

It arrived warped which means the record don't sit completely flat. Probably something to do with shipping but it did work for eliminating most of the static the track stuff to my albums and unfortunately I don't use it because the Warped causes the needle to rise and fall which effects the speed and sound negatively.

I thought the cork mat would keep the LP vinyl from wobbleing on the turntable to stop the skipping or repeating on a brand new album but the cork isn’t strong enough. The cork wobbles also. Not sure what will work since turntable is sized for 45s. Disappointed!

Nice and inexpensive upgrade if you have one of the felt mats. Seems to bring the mid-range frequencies more to the forefront. My records sounded harsh until I did some EQ fiddling. Also this mat is nice and flat and attracts less dust/airborne particles compared to my old felt one.

Excellent mat and sounds great.I would recommend this mat if you want to upgrade your felt mat.

Cuts down on static when playing our old LP collection from the 60's 70's and 80's.

It made my records sound really deep. I don’t know what I did wrong or if it’s not compatible with my Magnovox from the 90’s, but it makes Taylor Swift sound like CeeLo Green.

does not help it all if anything makes it worse i stopped useing it and yes i have a full size metal turn table
