It does take awhile for the heat element to heat up enough to melt the wax

The melter is really slow and it takes a long time to get the wax into the chip, a wood burning iron is faster and seems to melt into the chip surface better. The scraper works pretty good in leveling it flat. Color selection is good at matching the color of floor, the repair is hardly noticeable.

The heat gun drained the batteries so fast (2 sets) I had to resort to using an open flame to melt the wax. Then use a third set of batteries to sculpt the wax.Concept is great. Invest in a better tool

I had to use a lighter to melt the wax which resulted in a less attractive result plus it made the whole kit purchase redundant. I could have settled for just the wax and saved most of my money.Very disappointed customer over here!

En gros c'est un kit qui chauffe de la cire pour combler les trous. L'outil chauffe bien (assurez vous d'avoir des piles neuves: besoin de 2 piles AA). 1h max d'utilisation constamment avant de tuer les piles. L'outil arrête de fonctionner si vous relâchez le bouton, c'est problèmatique un peu. Le chiffon nettoit bien l'outil (lorsqu'il est chaud). L'éponge fait rien de bien. Moi, j'ai essayé sur la céramique. Truc, commencer par les couleurs de cires pâles vers les foncés.
