Bought one for my dad for Christmas, needed a new cooler to bring to the beach. When I got it, I decided to get one for my self. I've used it several times so far. Keeps beverages cold for a long stretch. Planning to take it on a canoe trip soon, confident it'll be great for that. Very easy to carry and access. Zipper is solid, better in my opinion than the RTIC zipper system. Solid Buy.

I was looking for a backpack cooler for our trip to Maui. I was wanted high quality so gravitated to a Yeti.Found out Yeti is in a recall situation with the type i wanted.I purchased this beach cooler back pack for $200 less than Yeti.Some of the beaches we like are remote, requiring long walks over sand while carrying beach umbrellas, chairs and various items. This backpack made those tortuous walks way easier than carrying the igloo cooler of yesteryear.This back pack kept everything cold even had leftover ice the next day! No leaks, comfortable straps.Flew over to Maui using this as my carry on instead of my usual back pack - worked out great and fits in over head bins just fine.Very happy very satisfied.

The zipper is a bit annoying but the cooler is pretty neat and convenient.

Purchased this cooler to take to a NASCAR race. It was a hot day, and it easily kept our beer ice cold from noon until midnight with plenty of ice to spare. This cooler does NOT leak, even at the zipper. The zipper is a bit hard to use at first, but once it gets broken in, it is not too bad, and it is much better than the smaller zippers. (I bought this one because of the monster zipper). The T handle on the zipper is a huge help. I would highly recommend this cooler.

Loved this cooler. Used it semi regularly for sports, beach etc for a year. So much more portable and convenient than a traditional cooler, kept my food cold. Did everything I expected. Spent what I felt like was a lot of money, took care of it and expected it to last at least 3 years but after a year the teeth on the zipper started to move around. It wouldn’t zip or unzip and we finally had to throw it away. Sad because it was a great cooler but also so irritating that it broke so soon.

This cooler is bigger than I expected. When I pack food, drinks and ice in the cooler for my beach picnic, it feels a bit heavy however it does an awesome job to keep food and drinks cold & fresh. I often have difficulty to zip and unzip this type of coolers. But I can open and close this cooler smoothly without any issues. It’s not a cheap cooler but I have to say that the design and quality really justify the price. I’m very excited to use it more often for my summer hiking.

The whole reason for purchasing this cooler was to be at the middle ground of affordability and quality. The second was reasonable size. I purchased it with family hiking while out-west on vacation. This cooler stood out compared to other similar designs from TourIt and others because of the larger zipper design. It reminds me of the original Yeti Hopper style zippers.From photos you can see how thick the upper lid is, the protrusion beyond the zipper gives it a good seal but I have not yet tested to see if it is leak proof.I have only used the cooler once to a backyard party. Tossed 3 small icepacks in with beers and water, the cooler was easy to unzip and thanks to the sealing of the lid I just left the cooler unzipped while at the party but knew it would keep cool. I removed the icepacks the following morning (approx 16 hours after loading). All of the icepacks were still totally frozen and had chilled a bottle of water that was room temperature to ice cold overnight. I think the insulation is going to be in-line with other coolers of this class - I am not expected 72 hours of ice but 24 hours of cold. I did notice that floor where the cooler sat was also ice cold this morning so I am not sure if the bottom is as thickly insulated at the sides/top.I hope it holds up well but my initial impressions are great!

First thing’s first, this is EVERYTHING I was looking for in a cooler backpack and more. Heavy duty build, you can tell it will last throughout the test of time. No flaws whatsoever and it is lighter than you would expect when empty. I put water in it and turned it upside down and no leaks whatsoever. The only reason I am returning it is because I didn’t realize how big these nice backpack coolers are compared to the cheap ones I’ve been using. I need something small to fit in my crane and I was really wishing this one would. If they built one a size smaller with all the bells and whistles like this one then I’d be SOLD!! This is top notch!
