The God-First Life: Uncomplicate Your Life, God's Way

I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a BETTER life with far less strife and complication! The book teaches how to 'restore order' and goes on to show how when order is restored, blessing is released! It makes sense that when we see an 'out of order' sign on a piece of machinery, that means it is not working. The book does a superb job in showing how this same principle applies to our life; 'out of order' means our life is not working as well! There are also some amazing stories that Pastor Stovall shares, one in particular while he was in the Amazon jungle that was a death defying story but taught him so much. The story is amazing and you don't want to miss it! Again I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to live a better life by restoring order, God's Way!

The book is easy to read and comprehend. It makes sense and I believe if one will do what it says in the book one will be a better person. Problem is will one acknowledge bad habits, worldly desires, become part of a small group, use ones gifts and tell others about past sins. One can tell God and repent of them but telling others? If yiu wabt this book to work it will.

I have been to Pastor Weems church several times. I actually rededicated my life to Christ, and was baptized at the 2014 God First Life Revival. I wish I had read this book years ago when I was first saved, I might never have lost my way and turned my back on God. The guidelines Pastor Weems sets up are for today, and practical. They aren't gender or age specific. My youngest son and his fiance are reading it now.I have been able to apply what I have learned in my marriage to an unbeliever, caring for his unbelieving elderly parents, dealing with Children who have turned from God like I had, and in my walk. I highly recommend this book.

Nothing here in the book is new. It’s straight from the Bible and it’s biblical teaching. Weems takes scripture and through the context of his book, breaks down what it means to live with God first. Bible readers aren’t going to disagree with anything in here.

Anything Stovall Weems writes is worth the read. His book Awakening was great and this book is just as good. He laid out some very practical ideas/steps to put God first in your life.

Have nothing against the book per se, but could not help but think I could probably go to any Southern Baptist church to hear in 20 plus minutes and give the cost of the book to charity that I read in the book. I was hoping for something out of main stream but was sorely disappointed. It's of what I call pop Christianity juanre. Not bad but certianlly not worth five stars. Would I recommend it, maybe to someone thinking of comiting suicide or a drug dealer wanting to change his life: a good first step for the spiritually un or under educated.

This book deals with an issue so foundational to living the life of Christ yet is rarely taught these day in our self centred world.I'd recommend this for those new in Christ as well as those at any stage along the way.I gave it five stars, not because it is perfect, but because it does a good job of addressing a very important topic.

Forgive the clicke, but this book changed my life. Well-written, Biblically-baed, and down-to-earth practical. The words stayed with me, helping to develop a prayer and devotional routine that totally works. If you want this life, I highly recommend reading this book - and then implementing some of its suggestions. Don't believe you will be disappointed!

I would recommend this to everyone who is trying to walk with God.. It was easy to read with practical, down to earth life applications which I found very helpful on a day to day basis.

This book takes God's most basic principle and uncomplicated it with great teaching. We constantly make biblical principles seem difficult. Yet if we just put God first our lives are put in order. This is a life changing read.

A very encouraging book and I would recommend this to anyone how wont's to find grate blessings in there life

Straightforward information about getting your priorities in order with sound Biblical teaching and some personal stories thrown to illustrate his points. I have learned a lot from this book and will recommend it to my pastor for our book study group.
