Tried 4 coolers. This one is my favorite.
If you want to read a review from someone w “consumer research OCD”: I’m your gal.Love love love this product. Can’t say enough good about it. I tried 3 other coolers first (Ozark Trail- roto molded Yeti knockoff, Igloo w top that hinges, and traditional Coleman w suitcase style wheels & handle) This one was by far the best for unexpected reasons:1- Carryability: Yeah I made up that word. Both the shoulder strap and the carry handles make it so much easier to carry than ALL other cooler of similar size. Most similarly sized roto molded (RM) coolers have those awkward long metal handles that hinge. They are impossible to carry if loaded with any amount of provisions, which is an unnecessary word to use, you’re welcome. And most RM coolers have badly engineered hand holds on either side that you can barely get your fingers around. And even if you can, that style of carry is challenging & awful on your back. It essentially requires you to hold a ~30lb box directly in front of your body. Who designed that??2- Zipper: Such great quality, and so sturdy that although it does take a little force to open & close, its bc the insulated seal don't 👏🏼 play 👏🏼. There is no sticking, getting off track, etc. Really impressed- this design is a home run. Whatever I like baseball.3- Keeps ice frozen: Admittedly I only camp for 4 days at a time each time, but it holds ice almost as long as the other coolers I’ve used— but way easier to carry, better dimensions, more functional, and prettier. Win, win, win, win.4- Dimensions: the dimensions are very different from the other coolers. Its hard to explain, but let me try bc why else am I even here. Dimensions are simply more functional. It’s shorter than the Coleman. This is better bc you can only stack so many things on top of each other before they a) get squished or b) are too far from the ice at the bottom. Unlike the rotomolded coolers, (hear me out...) there are no “indents” along the interior walls caused by the cooler construction/design itself. Why is that better? Those indents screw up how your items Tetris together inside. They really do. I packed my stuff in all 4 coolers of similar sizes, and this one packs the best. I am not a paid spokesperson calm down. But I will be. HEY RTIC. CALL ME.5- Color. I got green. It is gorgeous. The pictures don’t do it justice. This is a superficial bonus of course. The only draw back is that you should keep your ice blocked together as much as possible bc it holds ice a liiiiitle less long than hardcore RM coolers. But like who in the world isn’t going to be around a place that sells ice once every 4 days? No one.Like I said. If you need a review from an OCD research consumer. Hi.

RTIC soft cooler 20 can insulated bag
RTIC soft cooler 20 can insulated bag. These are expensive - but worth it. They work very, very well keeping shock packs frozen for over 24 hours. If you want to be sure your cooler is cooling - these are worth it. Maybe a few less dollars than the other brand - starts with a Y. I'm saving to buy larger ones too - Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I receive/accept NO free products or discounts that are not available to all shoppers- ever. For some reason our shopper ranks are no longer visible - so, to give you a little more info about me, I am a top 50 reviewer (#30 the highest rank achieved). Those numbers used to fluctuate over time - up and down but I noticed that they stopped updating regularly - perhaps to phase them out. It's a shame because it did help you see who has been around the longest and who is a trustworthy reviewer. I've been doing reviews for over 25 years with Amazon - nearly 6,000 reviews posted, viewed over 50,000 times, and over 24,000 likes. I pay for all my stuff, just like you do.

⁉️UPDATE ⁉️Great cooler !!!!
04/20/22Bought cooler to take with me since I'm an OTR truck driver. I usually leave for 3 days at a time and it keeps my drinks and food nice and cold. By day 2 the ice melts but it's still exceptionally cold with just the water in the bottom. I also toss in an ice pack that stays pretty solid for the trip. The weight of the bag itself is great too. I've seen in other reviews that the zipper has broke. I will say this, it's a waterproof zipper. The colder has fallen over a few times without leaking at all. On the other hand it takes some force to slide it around. I've applied the zipper lubricant, which looks to be a plain petroleum based jelly, like Vaseline. That does help but still is a little tough. That's my only concern, if it's made to work with the resistance than it shouldn't be an issue down the road. If so I'll be sure to update review. All in all .... I highly recommend this cooler.08/06/22Still happy and satisfied. As for the zipper I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you put the supplied grease or Vaseline between your index and thumb and go around the entire zipper at least monthly. If you use it on the daily like I do I would lube it up every other week. Once I got in the habit of lubrication of the zipper it worked effortlessly. I STILL RECOMMEND THE COOLER

Great cooler, but it doesn't keep ice cold for very long.
I really like this cooler. The color is great, the build quality is great. They put some heavy-duty zippers on these things. It can fit a lot of food or beverages, but the one main problem is that it does not keep ice for very long. It is built with some really think insulation, but it doesn't seem to keep ice. Another problem is the zipper. As I mentioned, they are beefy, they give you some lubrication inside the cooler to apply on the zipper frequently, which I do. But if you have kids, they may not be able to get into the cooler on their own very easily. My wife even has a little bit of a hard time opening and closing the cooler because you really have to rake on that zipper pull to close it. All in all, I like the cooler, I just wish that it kept ice longer and the zipper was a little easier to open and close.

A great compact cooler to keep drinks and food cold.
I bought this cooler to keep drinks cold in my work truck. The RTIC 30 can cooler exceeded my expectations in every way! Its compact size was easy to store in the back seat while providing enough room to store 24 bottles of water with ice packs. Its solid construction means I don’t have to worry about placing things on top of it and incurring crush damage.A great buy all around and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a compact cooler with ample room.

Fantastic
This cooler is great, it holds several cans and holds ice for a very long time.Zipper is fairly stiff to use but once you put some lubricant on it it works great.
