Bear Blender, 1000W Professional Smoothie Blender for Shakes and Smoothies with 51 Oz Glass Jar, Step-less Speed Knob and 3 Functions for Crushing Ice, Fruit and Pulse/Autonomous Clean

I was looking for a blender to use to mix Ka'chava shakes bc they are impossible to shake by hand & I also wanted to add crushed ice to the shake, so the blender needed to be powerful enough to handle crushing ice cubes 2xdaily.After looking at hundreds of models, I was able to narrow my search by these requirements: 1) The durability of glass, 2) The power of a 800+ Watt motor, 3) Lastly, I wanted something cute, 'cause why not?! 🥰☺️ I deserve it! The Bear blender was all these and more. It only comes with a 3' cord so beward if you need a longer cord (you need to get an extention). However, for the countertop it's absolutely perfect!

Had the blender for 9 months and the blender is starting to sound like it’s about to break. The noise is so loud and the blender makes a scratching noise that it didn’t make when I first brought it. I like that it’s glass, the green color and it’s kinda compact but it’s still big on the counter. Sometimes it’s hard to get the blender to work because it doesn’t easily lock and the light indicator doesn’t always come on. I’m not sure if this product is going to last and I might end up buying another blender.Update: Product smoked twice and is no longer usable. It’s releasing smelly gas into the air so it’s no longer safe and can not be used.Will be buying another blender somewhere else.

I decided to update my old blender with this model and boy am I glad that I did. I like the safety features of this blender - it won't even turn on unless the glass top is locked into place. Once you've got the top on you just turn the knob to get going. My old blender just had three buttons for selecting the speed. This one has a knob where you can ramp up the speed through a huge range. I love that, just so simple. I make protein shakes after working out and having that selection knob is great. When you add protein powder to milk you tend to get a protein powder "dust" floating everywhere if the blender is too aggressive. With the control knob though you can turn the blender way down when you first start mixing to minimize dust and then really crank it up once everything is in solution. There are buttons though for selecting different modes (fruit, cleaning, and ice crushing). The motor is really powerful, so I have no problem crushing ice and blending fruit for smoothies.You do need to be careful as the blades are pretty sharp. That can make cleaning by hand a challenge. I've generally been using the self cleaning mode though. You just add hot water, a drop or two of dish soap, and switch it to the cleaning function and it does a great job of cleaning itself! Just rinse it out real good afterwards.Overall I have been really pleased with the function and quality of this blender and would recommend it to others.

This blender is powerful but you cannot thoroughly clean it as it does not come apart.

This blender is amazing. It is a power house! I have had this for a while and I have to say. I am so impressed, surprised and relieved to find such an amazing product at a fair price.This thing is a powerhouse. To the people complaining that the light stays on Even when not in use... That's because you have the jug or jar pers listened to use. After you wash it and dry it. Just set it into the frame and don't turn it and press it down. The light will not go on. I wish there were instructions.

I purchased this blender since I liked the Bear electric lunch box I had before but this blender falls short in several aspects. First, it looks cute and I love the color but the blender doesn't open at the bottom where the blade is located so you can't disassemble to clean. It has a self-cleaning feature but I just think it's still unhygienic if you can't remove the blade to completely clean it after each use. The glass is thick but heavy. You also have to push it down to turn the lights on and start it. After a year of use, it now stopped working. Very disappointed.

I like the look of this blender and the fact that it has a glass carafe. It is okay at crushing ice, seems to leave a few larger pieces of ice every time I use it though. The most puzzling thing about this blender is that the blade base of this blender cannot detach from the glass jar. I kept trying to take it apart to clean it, but when I wrote to the company they said they don't detach for leak-proof and safety reasons. Well, okay then. The entire blade assembly is glued to itself and I wonder about particles like chia seeds or liquid drying in there. I usually make smoothies in it so no big deal, but today I made a vegan cheesecake and it was a creamy batter that I had to get out of the blender. I realize it is completely ridiculous that the thing does not come apart because it was impossible to clean. Maybe if you had some type of bottle brush to get in there under the blades it would help. It is retro cute, but is a really, really dumb design for a kitchen blender.

I have purchased several other blenders over the years hoping to find one that says it crushes ice and then actually crushes ice. This blender is fantastic. We have used it for smoothies, afternoon slushie cocktails and it hasn't let us down yet. The colour was also fantastic for the beachy theme at the cottage. Don't go look at any other blender. Put this in your cart and hit purchase.

El único detalle es que tiene un foco parpadeando siempre que está conectada, por lo que solo se conecta a la luz cuando se ocupa. This blender starring smoking today. I have only had it for a few months. The bottom doesn't come off the unit. It has been leaking for weeks now. Don't waste your money.

Easy to use. Very solidly built, so it's a bit heavy. It is very loud, but unless you're making smoothies 24/7 you'll be fine.

Good looking but not easy to clean because the base does not come off. Cannot be unscrewed.
