For the Price nothing comes close to it.
I have akg c414 xlx. You can compare to it and the difference is 8/10. Shocker product Highly recommended.

Great value for the price
Great mic for voice acting/voice over work. Excellent sound and the Hi-Pass and Pad switches on the front of the mic allow for versatility. Great proximity effect. Also very good build quality and the attached shock mount is second to none. For a microphone that originally sold for $300 you should be all over it for $79.99. I don't believe there is a better large diaphragm supercardioid condenser microphone for the price.

Sounds good But arrived Broken
Sound is good for the price but it came with a broken shock mount that had to be fixed and the CAD logo just doesn’t exist on the mic. I looked in the box and no sign of it. Pretty bad QC..

Zwei Mal kaputt geliefert
Ich hatte mir dieses Mic zuerst auf Amazon bestellt. Die Bestellung wurde sofort angenommen, dann musste ich aber wochenlang auf den Versand warten - weil laut Support keins mehr auf Lager war (ich hatte aber Screenshots, dass zur Bestellung noch welche da waren…)Als das Gerät endlich ankam, war es defekt. Also, zurück damit.Zur nächsten Bestellung ging ich dann zu Thomann. Genau derselbe Defekt ist bei dem Gerät dann auch aufgetreten. Im Kontakt mit dem Hersteller stellte sich dann heraus, dass es häufiger vorkommt. Finger weg von diesem Elektroschrott, der sich an einer ehemals wertigen Marke bedient!

Great for Voiceover
This Microphone has a 30-year legacy. This is the latest in the equitek range of Cad Microphones. I love this mic and has now become my number-one go-to microphone. I realize it doesn't cost as much as the TLM103 or the AKG 414, but I think it holds its own against both of these microphones. It has its own sound which is smooth. and the lows are great sounding.The best thing to do is to go to an outlet that allows you to test out the mic before you buy it, but I don't think anyone who gets this microphone will be disappointed.
