NFL Films - The Pro Football Hall of Fame - 85 Years of Greatness [DVD]

In my opinion you couldn't do a finer job covering the pro football hall of fame and it's many inductees. Let it be noted, this is a program that chronicles the hall of fame so for those that are dissapointed that there wasn't more material emphasizing the players as opposed to the hall of fame itself, then that is not the fault of the dvd set but rather the individual who went and purchased something opposite of what they were actually looking for. I however knew what I was looking for and thetefore was not mislead. Great buy.

I recommend this disc set to anyone who appreciates the players who helped build the NFL into the monster (I use monster in light of the CBA BS thats been going on, lol,) that it is now. This has a lot of the stars, it would have been nice if it was made this year, so it could include Rice, Emmitt, and LeBeau. The clips are a few minutes long and are really good imo, giving you a glimpse into the appreciation and legacy of these NFL greats. It is especially touching to see these guys as the human beings they are and not just the mega icons we grew up routing for on Sundays. My only knock is that there could have been many more inductions included, most importantly older inductions, as most of these seem to be from the 80s and 90s, still great though. Get this set, it's a good price and a really good set.

I love the presentation of the history of the best players on all 3 discs!

I love history. I love football history. This DVD has it all. Great footage from back when it all started. I can't get enough of all that old black and white, grainy footage. I really enjoyed this and hope that NFL Films will produce more DVDs with more vintage films from their vast archives!

Was a gift for my football lovin' brother in law. For him football is a religion and he loved this DVD set. it was fillde with lots of great moments and memories.

This product includes a DVD which was issued as Greatest Players And Coaches (I think that's the title) and the extra DVDs aren't that exciting, player speeches and click-on-here player profile menu that shows very little videos. Videos and info that you have to click to watch, can't seem watch all continiously, no Play All feature, so it's bothersome to click on each name at a time. Disappointingly, I already had the Greatest Players/Coaches DVD, so when I bought this set, it felt like buying something I already had, and the bonus discs are the lesser parts of the set.
