This stuff is so polarizing, you'll get the people who at one look decide it's repulsive and won't even try it or you'll get the more adventurous lot who'll give it a go. Usually if they're able to get past the weirdness of it and you assure them it's just sweet and salty dried pork, they have a taste and love it.It really is wonderfully tasty.They balanced the sweet with the salty perfectly. More often than not I'll just eat it right from the jar but I've been experimenting with other uses and haven't been disappointed yet. On a piece of bread with mayo it's absolutely wonderful. Put this stuff on top a bowl of rice and you'll wonder why you haven't been doing this forever. It couldn't be more at home on top of some fried or scrambled eggs as well.I'm always on the lookout for more uses.I describe it to people as if an oriental styled pork jerky were shredded to the point of having the texture of cotton candy. The saltiness of the soy sauce and the sweetness of the sugar mix flawlessly with the pork as it almost dissolves on your tongue while the richness of the lard completes the umami taste profile perfectly.Don't knock it till ya try it!!!

Got jar because wife loves getting pork floss bum coated pastries from 85 degrees. Little over a week now both wife and kid find ways to add this as a topping, will need to get another jar soon.Overall it taste the same as other containers that. Are quarter of this jars size but close to same price. Container comes with a spork like scoop to help with getting pork floss out the jar without putting whole hand on everything.

New experience for me. Tastes good. Still thinking of food items to use it in or put it on. Looking at recipes. Tried it on Crostinis, with chopped onions and half pieces of single slice cheese covering the Pork Floss and onions then broiled for 7 minutes. Good snack.

I have been enjoying pork floss since I was young so I have pretty high standard and this product makes the cut. It was wonderful to find it here. I have tried purchasing from nearby Asian stores but those tastes like they have been on the shelf for far too long or the product may have been exposed to extreme heat or cold. So although it is a bit pricey, this tastes fresh (at least as freash as you can get from pork floss) and is very flavorful so it is worth the price.Now, we get to the other stuff. The container came dented. I thought is may have been due to the transport but the box seemed okay. The Amazon delivery driver also rudely fully backed up up into the neighbor's driveway which has nothing to do with the product quality but is still part of the overall customer experience.

This product is so good and quite addictive. A very nice addition to pasta, salad and rice dishes.

I used to have these all the time as a kid and I can't find it anywhere in the US and I ordered it after years of not having it. It's extremely good, my husband surprisingly liked it. It's definitely a lot sweeter than I remembered. Might just be this brand but it's still really good, I just personally don't like it being as sweet as it is. Definitely worth trying, texture is like how the other reviews describe it it. Sort of like cotton candy but also a mix of like freeze dried candy? It melts but also have a weird texture.Also a HUGE plus with the super cute piggy spork! (: <3
