Metra 99-7414 Single DIN Installation Kit for 2000-2006 Nissan Sentra Vehicles -Black

Didn't fit single din . I had to do some cutting to get it to fit. Normally you don't have to do that.

I wanted to install and aftermarket radio in my 2006 Nissan Sentra and wanted it to look seamless with the rest of the dash. I bought this because the reviews made it seem like it was the best option available. The reviews were absolutely correct. The color matched perfectly and it made the radio look very neat and professional. It was extremely easy to install, in fact it was more difficult to remove the stock radio than to install this kit. I only gave it 4 stars for two reasons. The first was the install instructions had OK pictures at best and vague instructions. This might make it a little more difficult for less experienced installers. The second reason I deducted a star is that with the radio I purchased the face plate opens forward to insert CD's and this kit prevented from the faceplate opening all the way. After a little fiddling and a small amount of shaving it was not a problem. Outside of those two minor faults, I highly recommend this kit to anyone that wants to install an aftermarket radio and make it look professionally installed.

This product fit perfectly in my 2003 Nissan Sentra. It is a flat black color and matches well with the other parts in the car.This is not designed for the radio to slip through the hole. Rather, this fits on the front of the aftermarket radio and the radio's faceplate is the only part that sticks through the hole. It is actually difficult to remove and replace the faceplate on this particular headunit because it requires the faceplate to be moved to the right about 1/8 inch, and the gap was not quite big enough. with practice, and a little extra pressure I can now re-install the faceplace.

Item fits perfectly in my dash. Makes my aftermarket stereo look almost seamless. I have two issues; the color and the fitting. The color is too dark. My console is gray and this item is black, so it throws it off a bit, but nothing major. The way this item is designed and how my head unit fits into it, I'm unable to reattach my radio face if I were to take it off (for security reasons). I had to remove the console, remove this item, reinstall my radio face and put everything back together. Needless to say, the radio face will just stay on at all times.

I was looking to upgrade my stereo in my 2006 Nissan Sentra. I went to several stores trying to find the right installation kit but there was nothing that fit my car. After searching amazon, this is what I needed to install my after market stereo. The Metra 99-7414 fit in perfectly during install and is the exact fit to my aftermarket stereo. The texture is slightly different compared to the rest of the dashboard, but it is hardly noticeable. My car is over 6 years old and even with the wear and tear of the sun on the existing dashboard, the color of the installation kit was almost the exact same. The price for everything to blend in nicely was well worth it. I am very satisfied with how my new stereo looks and it works great!

I wrecked my other sentra that I had this in. I had the sense to pull my stereo and mp3 player wire but not this attachment. So I bought another sentra, and bought my 2nd of these. Installed in less than 30 seconds. No issues with face plate not fitting. Only issue is it's not fully flush with ac vent unit above it--there's a slit that gets to about 4mm near the middle. Maybe it's my install technique, regardless, it looks way better than before with the named stereo.

This item worked as I expected. The installation was simple, quick and easy. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the color does not perfectly match the rest of my black trim, but I sort of expected that as well. Other than that with your new radio, harness adapter (which I recommend as well) , and this install kit you should be able to save some money and do your stereo upgrade in your driveway in no time.

I purchased the other installation kit that is offered and was cheaper and I had to modify buy cutting/filing it just to make the single DIN fit. I wasted my time and money! So I decided to purchase this installation kit for my Nissan Sentra 2002 and it fits perfectly. Don't look anywhere else because this kit is what you will want. My radio looks like it was installed professionally because of how the kit looks like it came from the nissan manufactor. (By the way I installed it myself.) You wil not regret your decision if you purchase this kit.

I installed this cover on my 2001 Nissan Sentra. I have black interior parts, and the colour was very close, though the grainy texture of this part was more noticeable and prominent than OEM interior parts. Not really a big issue, but may be for someone who needs an exact match.Installation of this part was very easy, it fit well in the vehicle. The only issue I have with this part is the bottom section of the single din slot prevents proper fitment of single din receivers. I had to get an exacto-knife to trim the inner edges of the bottom to allow enough room for my faceplate to attach. From what I understand, and have seen from others using this part for Nissan Sentras, is this is a common issue. Keep in mind when you buy this, that having to cut the bottom excess plastic from this part creates a gap that is visible when your faceplate is removed. It will also allow light from your temperature knobs to shine through the gap. None of the light is visible with a faceplate on, but again, if you are like me and picky about stuff like that, maybe look at buying by a different part.

Fit my 2004 Nissan Sentra with no problems, no gaps at all, tight fit. Its color didn't match my dash exactly but regardless the black looked excellent.
