Beautiful cheap garment. Plan to buy every one I can get my hands on!!! So far I have 4. Sorry about the long post, but this has washing instructions included. Perfect look and price!! I am mature woman and my body temp is unpredictable. I was looking for something lightweight but covers whole body. I also live with my husband and 2 sons. So I needed something that was fashionable as well as practical. This is lightweight enough to wear all day without tearing it off during my hot spells. It is thin but won't be a problem with under garments on. It is very delicate so I plan to hand wash in the wash machine. Allow machine to fill up with water & detergent of choice, turn off washer, let items sit for 15 min or however long you choose apply swishing and lightly scrubbing, wring and place in laundry basket. allow washer to drain soapy water, fill up with rinse water, turn washer off, place items in rinse water, hand rinse well, then hang to dry. Turn washer on finish cycle.No bending or dripping back breaking tub washing. These item are so lightweight that even a more expensive material couldn't withstand the harshness of going through a wash cycle on their own. And for me not worth the expense of dry cleaning like tags say. I plan to have these a long time so I will do what I need to preserve them. As for fit. I am 5'1 198lb give or take a few and they go down to my feet with no extra material to drag on the floor. For taller people I can only say that if you are slim this may work for you, because what you don't need in width you will gain in length. But don't worry. Amazon does have plenty of Kimonos for tall women but they will be more pricey. Hope this helps someone.

I wear Kaftans/Mumus at home all the time. this sure seemed like it would fit. I never wear them out of the bag, they are stiff and the smell of the dyes is too much. So Into the wash it went. It looked comparable to the ones that i have, i gave it not another thought. WRONG. The first think i noticed was the draw string raveled, and there were threats at the seams that had frayed. Ok, its a house wear only, i shrugged it off, pulled the unnecessary drawstring out and when i put it on i got stuck.. literally. I managed to gather it up to above my shoulders and pull it off. And into the Good Will Bag it goes. the draw string is WAY TO SHORT. It goes over you head and shoulders but if you have ample proportions elsewhere it is half the size i expected. Because it is washed i wont ask to return it and just take that money and consider it a loss.

If it had pockets it would be perfect. Very light and flowy, but you don't have to worry about anyone seeing though it. There is a drawstring under the bust for sizing.

The stitching was crooked and there were lots of loose threads. I may have to stitch some of it back together as it is coming apart in some places where they missed the fold of the fabric. The dress had a strange smell. The fit was a bit off at the waist for a 5 ft woman, where there was too much fabric above the tied waist. The fabric is light, but a bit see-through. For the price, was adequate though. Not sure I would wear in public, but a great lounging dress for home or swimsuit cover up.

Material is very thin and not pu together well. I purchased 4 of these and all four fit me differently. Two were very snug, one was extremely too small and the forth was the fitment I was looking for.
