Look Great, Easy to Cut, Easy to Install
I've been meaning to update the stairway to our 140 year-old attic after someone else did so in the 1960's. These stair treads are an attractive and safe addition to utility staircase. They are easy to cut and the rubber is very gripping. I used 6' of a heavier double-sided carpet tape for each tread in my application since the smaller rolls supplied don't provide enough adhesive space for my tastes. Good product!

Well made and appear durable, easy to install and provide good traction.
So far after a few weeks of use and some rain/snow/sub freezing temps, seem to do the job at providing traction (even when wet or frozen) and it is easy to clean the snow off of them. The treads appear to be well made out of durable material, and they were easy to install. In addition to the provided double stick adhesive (see below) I put screws in each corner of the treads to help ensure they won't blow off or get pulled off when we are cleaning the snow off of the steps. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because both sets that we purchased (we purchased 2 sets of 6) the included double stick tape was not quite enough to do all of the steps. I installed them with one strip of tape on both the leading and trailing edges of the treads, and each set came with enough tape to do 4-5 of the 6 treads. Since I am also using screws it should not affect their performance but I would think for the price of these (there are much less expensive traction options) they could provide a little more tape.I would recommend the product but suggest unless you are planning to use the double stick tape to secure them that you plan to purchase some to augment what is provided.

Amazing product!!
The media could not be loaded. My garage steps are only 23” wide. The wood has gotten too slippery for my 12.5 yo Sheepdog to safely navigate. These rubber treads were very easy to cut to shape, using a fresh blade in my case cutter. I used the pieces I cut off, on the top of the deck to add stability there too. I chose to put the adhesive on the back edge and also on the lip, to prevent my shoe from snagging it. The picture shows the placement. I had plenty of tape but keep in mind my steps are narrow. Check out my video of Zoe, easily navigating the steps now. These are critical for her safety. THANK YOU!!

High quality rubber stair treads- they do require some thought for installation
I ordered two sets of 5 treads and one 3 pack for my attic. I did trim the front edge of the treads so that they did not hang over the edge of the stairs- a trip hazzard in my opinion. I used a T sqaure and a very sharp box cutter to remove the extra materials. Once I got the hang of it it was pretty easy.Where I had issues was the attachment methods. Here is what I did.1). Clean the wood steps and sand hogh spots2). Measure the lenght of the actual stair minus the length of the rubber treads and divide the answer by 2 so that you center the rubber tread.3). Place the rubber tread on the stair and mark all four corners/edges with a pencil4). Cut the supplied 3M adhesive strips to fit the front of the wood stairs and I also placed one half of a 3m strip in the right and left rear corners going along the long dimension of the stairs. This helps to hold the tread down.5). Take a 3m strip and cut it on the long length into four even-width pieces. These should be about .5" wide. Apply these to the front edge of the stairs.6) Apply a good construction adhesive to the top of the stairs in an X pattern starting from the front corner diagonally across to the right top corner. Repeat for the right front to top left. Fill in the opne areas with a .25" wide bead of adhesive.7). Reniove the top layer of each of the 3M adhesives and discard them8) Place the rubber tread at your marks on the stairs and smooth the front edge onto the glue strips.9). Push pn the top of the tread in all corness and across the tread from front to rear and frm left to right to spread the adhesive.10) I used brown 17g x 1" panel nails to help secure the tread. I nailed 5 places on each front piece and then one in each corner on the horizontal surface plus 1 on the back edge in the middle. A total of 10 nails for my applicationSounds like a lot of work but the instruction leaves a lot to be desired so this was my plan and it worked.See the picture for the final product. Took me three hours to do 15 treads including prep, design, trimming and installation.

saves the stairs
I wanted to get something to protect the stairs going from garage into house. I was always cleaning and repainting the stairs as they constantly got dirty and scuffed. These work so well. I didn't permanently attach them as they are heavy enough and have the lip on the front that they stay in place. I've had them over 3 years.

Anti slip stair treads
Overall it’s a good product. There is definitely not enough two sided tape to adhere the treads properly. There should be at least double the amount provided. The lip of the treads need one piece all the way across to keep them from buckling( tripping hazard). I used the tape provide to secure the tread itself on four of the 5 treads shipped and ran out. I had to buy another complete roll at the hardware store to complete the job. Once again, it’s a good product with not nearly enough tape to secure.

Love these treads!
Quality is great, they will be easy to keep clean. We used them on our garage steps. I didn’t use the adhesive strips provided. Instead I used contact cement to adhere them. I put them where I wanted, with a pencil drew the outline of the tread on the step. Then painted on the contact cement on the back side of the tread and the inside of the line drawn on the step. And then carefully placed it on the step. They look amazing and seem like they will hold up great! (2 of the treads came in a little bent, but with the adhesive cement it smoothed right out). This 3 pack being less than $30 is a steal in my opinion!
