Having read the one and two star reviews on this product I must never again underestimate the rank stupidity of some of the great British public. Flimsy?. You could stand on the damn thing. No instructions?. Duh, they're clearly printed on the box. Plastic tape cutter?. It's a protective cover Sherlock. Anyhoo, it works brilliantly and is superb value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. p.s. Don't use cheap tape. Get the heavy duty stuff.

I don't know why I got this.I mean, it works exactly as it should and I haven't had any issues, bit I packed about 10 boxes and now I have no use for it.I felt like the king of the box taping world, nothing could stop me, but the harsh reality was that I did not need that power and the packaging tape gun has been hidden away to hide my secret shame.Excellent product, just make sure you actually need it

This is one of those gadgets you wonder why you haven't purchased sooner. The numerous times I have struggled with tape sticking to everything but the things it should or, not being able to find the end of the tape and this device just fixed all that.The roll of packing tape is firmly held in the device which then presents end of the tape ready for the next application. The handy serrated cutter not only efficiently cuts the tape but also makes sure that the end is neat and tidy for the next seam to be taped. The product is sturdy and very functional. There's absolutely nothing wrong with this product.It arrived, I pushed on a roll of parcel tape, threaded through the slot, removed the plastic blade guard and away we went.Works perfectly.I was amused by barrystuarthargreaves review and I couldn't have agreed more with his comments of how blatantly daft and inept some of the 1 and 2 star reviewer people are. Especially those that didn't realise that the blade guard had to be removed first .... doh!Instructions? Shouldn't really need them? If you do they're printed on the side of the box the thing came in.Certainly making swift work of parcelling up stuff for our house-moving.

Makes packing stuff so much easier. Really simple to use. Put the tape on the role with the sticky side away from the red, and open the metal gate on the bottom and feed the tape through. Don’t forget to take off the cover on the blade to be able to cut the tape! Just pull the plastic cover off. Put the tape on the box and pull down with the gun and lift the back end so the blade cuts the tape. Would recommend this device 100%. Not that complicated
