Solidly built, does the job
How "easy" it is will depend on how solidly your drain is stuck in. IN my case, it took extra muscle and a large wrench to free it, but after that, easy. It does what it's supposed to do, is probably nearly indestructible (I was worried more about breaking the cross-bar at the bottom of the drain before I got it loose). This thing is built tough.

Very helpful in getting our old drain out with ease. Have only used it once but it was a good value and quality. Fit both drain well for good grip.

Drain Tool
Seems to work as it should. My drain had deteriorated so I was not able to use. However, it seems to be OK if the drain is intact and not to corroded.

This is a tub drain wrench, there are many like it but this one is mine
This will easily install and remove tub drains in good condition. You be the judge if not denting the "cross" at the bottom of the drain is worth having to keep track of a single-use dedicated tool. For drains in bad condition, an extractor bit (and maybe impact wrench/ driver) may be necessary.
