I should emphasize the fact that the description says, "low compression core ... bounce 25% lower than standard tennis ball and for beginners." We are as a family all beginners and we tried these balls and confirmed it is true, these balls do not bounce as much! I came to realize beginners tend to hit the ball too hard so that the ball would not possibly fall where it is supposed to, inside the lines.So, if you are an experienced tennis player these balls may be annoying for you!The dots? Well, they are helpful, too. It is easier to distinguish them from the other team's ball in the court playing next to you (assuming they don't have the same balls :)

Great for my purpose
I cannot comment on how well the balls are for tennis because I am using them as dog toys. We have a dog that loves to chase tennis balls for twenty to thirty minutes at a session. We have been using two or three balls for this game.The end result of all this ball chasing is some very slobber covered balls. It is a sign of pure love for that pup that I am willing to pick up those soggy balls. But he loves it and it is a great way to burn off some of his excess energy.This pack of tennis balls goes a long way in helping to make this game more pleasant for the humans involved. Just grab a fresh ball and throw. Since he now has plenty of balls in the game, no single tennis ball becomes soggy. A perfect solution to all involved.
