Was able to cover very dark navy in 4 coats. Picture shows after coats 1, 2 & 4. 3 might have done it, but wanted to be sure. I still have some left after 1 tin, so the coverage is amazing. The texture was thick, with limited spatter, and went on easily with a roller and brush.Our bathroom is really steamy and it seems to be holding up well. My one warning would be, don't get it in your hair! It took ages to wash out (which I suppose is good, for waterproof bathroom paint!)

This bathroom paint is fantastic. It has a gorgeous pale to mid pink, but best thing is it wipes easily for the bathroom. Goes on easy and amazon price great as always

This is a good bathroom paint which we chose for our ensuite. It goes on nicely and looks fantastic after two coats. Initially, during application and for a couple of days afterwards it has a very unpleasant pungent odour, but this does not last.

This is my 2nd tin of Johnstone’s Bathroom Paint that I’ve bought I love it that much. It has a beautiful mid sheen that isn’t too shiny and goes on the wall like a dream. Not smelly and dries to the touch in a couple of hours. I’ve only gone over previously white painted walls so can’t say whether you would need 2 coats for coverage over a dark colour but only 1 coat was needed for me.As it states that it can cover 30m2 per 2.5 ltr tin, I managed to paint 2 bathrooms with 1 tin (they’re very small bathrooms-not palatial) I’m going to paint my small kitchen with this paint too as it is ideal to use in areas of high condensation. Paint is paint and it’ll go where I want it to.As it’s water based, you can clean your paint brushes with ease (my least favourite job)

This is a very good paint for bathroom ceiling, have also used on the kitchen celing.Good coverage and low odour.

Lovely paint to apply and gives a great finish. However, be warned! Please ensure you open as many windows as possible as it absolutely smells awful during application and drying.
