TGTBT: Trade one problem for another. Solve your P0444 in exchange for a P0456
This valve is faulty and does not hold air pressure when closed. While the valve does open when voltage is applied, it is not an air tight valve and is causing a DTC 27CC DMTL: leakage and OBD2 P0456 "evap system leak detected (very small leak)". Unfortunately this is enough to fail a smog test in Ca.
