Not great
Ok as far as it goes. Used it on a flight via Madrid so that I could see whether my case had actually made it to the connecting flight. Turns out it’s not much help for that. I had actually collected my bag at Heathrow and was standing outside with my bag next to me before the tracker could get its act together to tell me that my bag had arrived at Heathrow. All in all it seems to be an expensive waste of money.

So far very happy
Have not tested it exhaustively as it was simply bought to replace my LugLoc in countries where that no longer works. First impressions are that it is like the LugLoc, but smaller, lighter, and more customisable to your own style of use through the improved app. Not perfect, but definitely worth having rather than not.I also get the impression from researching alternative products that for air travel, there's really no point getting anything other than this. Stump up, or don't, but don't waste your money on something else that is REALLY a false economy!

Does what it's supposed to, BUT...
Quite simply, this works. The app is not very pretty but it does the job, albeit not in the most elegant way. However it does require a subscription that ain't cheap $7.95 a month or $76 a year

Great idea, well worth the cost.
Great for keeping track of luggage when on the move. Really good customer service. Well worth the initial outlay and the annual subscription.

CAUTION - Charges even when not using, or $35 fee to reactive
One attraction of GEGO was that you could pay for 1 month of service when you needed it, instead of the expensive annual subscription. They have now introduced a "suspension" charge. If you don't have an active subscription you still have to pay $1 per month. If you don't pay, the device is deactivated and you must pay $35 for reactivation if you ever want to use it again. The $35 reactivation fee is in addition to the subscription. So, if you use it for 1 month while on holiday, then want to use it again the next year, you have to keep paying every month, or pay $35 reactivation, or buy the annual subscription. When I bought GEGO, these suspension and reactivation charges did not exist. They have changed the terms and conditions and are applying these charges to people who have already bought GEGO when these charges did not exist. My GEGO is now useless.Notice that it does not say anywhere on this Amazon product page that you MUST have an annual subscription or pay $1 per month and if you don't then your device will become unusable in future. It also does not mention these charges on the GEGO website when you look at the product or the subscription packages. You have to go into the terms and conditions to find it, and this is not mentioned on or linked to from the product page.I have reported this to Amazon because this device will stop working unless you keep paying. As soon as you end an annual subscription or a monthly subscription you will continue to be charged or you will have to pay $35 extra the next time you want to use the device.Adding that suspension charge takes away the big advantage of GEGO which was that you could pay for the service when you were travelling. Applying these new charges to previous customers is really bad form.
