Awesome Timer! Instructions need work!
Took me a couple of hours to sort out. Instructions were written in "Chinglish" and unclear as to which device they were referring to (HUB/Timer). But once sorted out, installation was a breeze. Important to note, set the WIFI HUB up first... The HUB wants to connect to your 2.4 GHz WIFI signal and asks for your "WIFI password" to connect to your WIFI. This is different than the User Name and password that you set up for your "Smart Life app".Once you set up your "Smart Life" account, configure the HUB, and start up the app... Select the hub and "ADD DEVICE" on the HUB brings up the list of devices as shown in the pictures. If you can't get to the list of devices, then you probably entered the wrong password for your WIFI connection (like I did)! And the reference to two lights flashing refer to the lights on the timer. So press and hold one of the buttons on the timer until the two lights start flashing sequentially to put the timer in pairing mode.I was concerned about distance, but my HUB is plugged into an inside wall outlet with a straight line shot of nearly 60 feet to the timer ands it works perfectly. Also noted that the Johgee Dual Water Timer passes more than twice the volume of water than the old 3-zone Orbit Timer it was replacing... my sprinklers now spray more than twice as far! On the flakey 3-zone Orbit timer, zone 1 stopped turning off and had to be capped. The other 2-zones occasionally randomly exhibit erratic flows when they are turned on, and sometimes don't turn off completely, dribbling water continuously out to the sprinklers! But be very careful when you thread the hose couplings on to the Johgee timer threads. I tried several times noting the coupling was going on crookedly and binding. When straight with the threads, they go on easily, tighten up, and don't leak. Forcing a cross-threaded coupler on the plastic threads will destroy the threads and cause permanent leaks!Very happy with my purchase, so I'm going to replace all of my manual Digital ORBIT Timers!

Won't stay connected to wifi
It's a great system if it works. The timer has lots of options. The problem is that it keeps disconnecting from the wifi, and when it's disconnected, the irrigation schedule doesn't happen. I have two big concerns with this: 1. It won't function at all when I'm gone and I'll come home to a bunch of dead plants. 2. Even worse, an irrigation cycle starts and mid-cycle the unit disconnects, then continues to run water non-stop until... what? I'm returning the first unit and getting a replacement. If the second one doesn't work any better then I will try something different.

Easy to set up and use
I started last year with 2 of them, and added 2 more this year. These are the easiest to set up and use timers I've ever used. I highly recommend them. I tell everyone how easy they are and when people come over and notice them I show them just how easy they are. I'm A 47 year old women with Rheumatoid and these have made it so easy to maintain a beautiful yard. Set up is simple with the app.

Great timer
Works great, good app. Some issues connecting, but workable. Seems to only want to connect to bluetooth, so not sure why it needs the app...

Excellent device
Exceeded my expectations, works with google voice and Alexa seamlessly you only have to wait a while the first time you connect the device to Wi-Fi and then after that it never disappoints

Worked great but only for 8 months....
I purchased two of these systems and they worked great. The app is intuitive and easy to program. Unfortunately one of them quit working after 8 months. And no warranty replacement available.

Battery Life is Terrible
While great in concept, the practical use of the water timer is useless. After a struggle to get it connected, it seemed to work well for a few days, then stopped turning in. I was unable to find any good troubleshooting documentation and the chat bot on their site is not useful at all.I changed out the four AA batteries and got it working again…and a week later I got an alert that the batteries needed replacing. Seems they only last a week, which is pointless and inconvenient.I’m a hard pass on the Johgee Water Timer and would return it if I could.

Fundamental bug that needs fixing!
I recently installed this product and in the main was very happy with how easy it was to set up and the user interface via the smart things app. The main purpose for my set up is to be able to remotely top up my pond so I have it set to a limited run time.HOWEVER there appears to be a fundamental flaw. We recently had a power cut and unbeknown to us, when the power came back on the smart tap defaulted to open. Worse still, for whatever reason the work timer wasn’t counting down so it didn’t automatically shut off after the timer should have ended. This resulted in both taps running for around 18 hours, completely overflowing my pond and flooding my garden!!Hopefully they resolve this and update the hub so that following a power failure the tap defaults to closed/off.Without that issue would have been a 5 star purchase.

Rain delay in the app is useless but the sprinkler timer overall works
The smartlife app is the letdown. The timer can be set in many ways BUT even when the app weather shows it's been raining all day, the rain delay doesn't work - the sprinkler comes on when the rain had been pouring all day.The sprinkler timer is easy to use and set up.If you're going to rely on this while away on holiday, which is what we want to do, then you'll be worried all the time that the sprinkler is coming on unnecessarily.

A good timer
Makes life easier being able to control through an app. Not great if the distance to your router is at the extreme of its range so I have need to add another router, but otherwise really good. Easy to use and set up

They got the basics wrong
The automation on this works well. Setting up the app / WiFi & Alexa no problem. Unfortunately the plumbing lets it down. To be useful the two you attach it to needs to be on. While both automated valves are closed that puts mains pressure on the joint between the tap and this device. Unfortunately it is impossible to get the device to seal with the tap tight enough to withstand the pressure so the joint leaks. I have tried it on multiple taps of different types and used adapters. I have even tried plumbers tape - which should not be necessary. As I am not happy leaving a leaking tap on I my back yard the device is useless & will be going back. Shame.

Restricts water pressure by 1.5bar
Restricts water pressure by 1.5bar as opposed to a Claber water timer. It’s a shame because it seems to be the only one available with the WiFi function. And actually the user interface works well. Will be returning sadly.
