Does NOT fit a 2009 sierra 1500
Amazon said the part was correct and it was not. Found the correct one and installed it and it works great. Buyer beware, Amazon isn't correct on this one and you'll be returning it just like I had to.

Very tight fit
It was an exact replacement for the power outlet that was in my GMC. The only issue is that it will pull out of the dash when trying to remove the 12v plug; it's very tight.
