I purchased for a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have a Harbor Freight's highest end scanner (ZR Pro) that supports immobilizer programming, so no need to pay to have a dealer or a locksmith to do that. I got the key code for my car from the dealer (no charge, just showed proof of ownership), which is a code the scanner will need. I first confirmed that the new fobs could be read by the vehicle.When I first inserted the new fobs, the vehicle read them as not programmed. I added/programmed the fobs using the scanner and the key code. After confirming everything was working as expected, I had the local hardware store cut the key inserts and I confirmed that they worked. No addition action required. All button functions work as expected. I'm happy I found these replacement fobs!

Had a old case just would not work. Got this one for my push button 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. It works great. Easy to change the inside to the new one.

Title says it all. If you are looking for a 1 to 1 swap card to a same key and move on this isn't it. Another 150 at key shop and they are programed and work fine. One does stick in the starter from time to time but the second is alright so far.
