RockportMen's Darwyn Fishermen Sandal

I tried several closed toe sandals before finding this one. The size fits very well. The memory foam soles embrace the feet unlike other sandals I have tried. It gives a nice feeling of cushioning. The feet feel well protected. The leather straps touch the feet from top softly. Walking feels very comfortable with arch support.

I've worn these Rockport sandals all day for the last three days without discomfort or issues. The uppers are soft leather with a comfortable liner, and they conform to the contours of my feet with no rubbing or chafing. The fit is snug around the midfoot and heel (no slipping around). I find the permanent insoles provide a rather plush, foam type response. How long the insoles maintain that amount of cushion remains to be determined. The arch support is neutral. The soles are a lightweight, firm material, but not suitable for trail use IMHO. Overall, an excellent sandal for flat surfaces.

A bit small for a 14D but they are stretching out a bit. Good comfort. I like them.

Regardless of the bad things people have mentioned, these arevery comfortable sandals. The gripes about the strap being too shortare unfounded. Perhaps if you have really huge feet that might be the case.

I have always had good luck with Rockport products until now. The main strap which holds the sandal on was too short. If it would have been an inch or so longer it would have been good, but the length it came with was too short for the Velcro to adequately hold strap in place. The strap wouldn't hold after I put it on.

If you’re a person that enjoys comfort, then these sandals were made for you. They are extremely comfortable and well-made. They are ideal for those slow strolls on the boardwalk or whatever. I would highly recommends them.

My partner needed a pair of shoes for walking during our summer vacation in Greece. I placed high expectations on these- he needed to be able to wear them every single day, in hot weather and sometimes in water. These exceeded my expectations. They worked for every occasion, from going to dinner to going to the beach. They were the only shoes he wore the entire time! He has since worn them to a water park as well. They clearly aren't water shoes, but they do seem to work in a pinch even in cases where you are actively walking in water. After being exposed to sun, sand and water, they still look just as good or even better. I insisted that we find him a pair of sandals that looked somewhat stylish, and these fit the bill!
