Electric Vehicle Charger Portable EVSE 120-240v Level 2 Nema 6-20 Plug To J1772 25' Station for EV Charging

Three years ago we leased a FIAT 500e and used a 110 Volt garage outlet to re-charge the battery. But this recharging was so s-l-o-w that the car was only used on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays! So when the FIAT lease ended and we leased a 2017 Chevy VOLT, we immediately hired an electrician to establish a line of 220 Volt current for recharging the VOLT each night, during off-peek hours in Sacramento. IMHO, many EVSE connectors are very overpriced. That said, and from all the research I'd done, this DUOSIDA EVSE worked out to be the best value item that worked appropriately. We've been VERY pleased that it works so flawlessly, recharging the VOLT from ZERO in 4 hours. I just cannot imagine spending more money for an EVSE, no matter which Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle you have, or which Battery Electric Vehicle you have. I should have gotten this 3 years ago when I first leased the FIAT 500e. If you relocate, just take this item with you instead of leaving it behind, stuck to the wall of the garage. Think of the EVSE as 220Volt extension cord for your car, because that's all it is. No need to spend big bucks. (;>)

First one died after only 3 months of use, but Duosida replaced it with no hassle and the new one has lasted and performed well. I've recommended to others, who have purchased and used with no issues.Good company, nice value priced product.Update for August 2018. Second one has now died just 12 months after being replaced. Good product, but seems short lived, and probably ONLY for indoor use.

This works perfectly for charging my 2017 Smart Electric car. The cord has a high quality, heavy rubber exterior and the plug is heavy duty. The LEDs are bright and indicate what is going on. I would highly recommend it!!

6 months later and it's still working, happy so far!

First two charges took 15 minutes longer than the Volt originally indicated for 240 volt. The second charge took 4 hours 15 minutes from completely drained to full charged. I could not be any happier with the charger.

The unit overcharged my Chevy Volt with excessive current rate. It actually blew the input section of m Volt and caused the $500 repair bill from the Chevy dealer after only 3 uses. It is poorly designed & poorly made piece of garbage.

The build quality is impressive. My car charges much faster now.
