Happy
Short and sweet and thoughtful in bite-sized chunks. You can hear Bill's voice as you read, and it made me ponder what makes me happy, and reading books like this did have a placing on my list. A little bit of inspiration and reflection goes a long way, and I am happy with that

Pure poetry
Bought to replace damaged copy that had been a gift. This raises a smile or two and makes you love Bill Bailey in all his spiritual goodness, even if you don't care for his comedy skits. A truly lovely book, which I need in my life!

not as described
I bought thas as a used book, the descpition said it was in good condition, but when it arrived the book was bent with a large crease, the full length of the book, in the middle, which would have took some effort as it was a hardback book. However the content was typical good humoured Bill Bailey and well worth the read.

Kept a smile on my face
This book is, in reality, not a guide to happiness. Bill himself freely admits this in the opening pages. What this book is is a collection of stories each focused on a certain activity that made Bill happy. The offshoot is that maybe you might have a happy experience doing them too.Written during the Covid lockdowns we join Bill in reflective mood as he recounts tales of both adventure and day to day life in the life of Bill Bailey – Bill’s day to day is obviously a little bit different to the likes of me. One minute we are wild swimming in an Icelandic Lake, Paddleboarding on the Thames or being invited on stage at Sonisphere Festival, the next he is talking about having a clear out or going cycling. The connection between all the stories is simple – this is something that made him happy. While, as I have said already, this is not a clear guide to happiness there are a few nuggets of wisdom that seemed to hit the right notes for me that I hope to revisit. I had a smile on my face throughout reading it, and even if that is all it brings me, at least it would be something I could list on my own guide to happiness one day. Recommended.

Puts a smile on your face
Found out about this book through watching Graham Norton's show and Bill Bailey was a guest. I was so impressed with his talent I thought I would purchase his book. What a delight, I smiled throughout the whole thing. It is just lovely and fun and a joy to read.

Happiness for Everyone
What a nice diversion and informative read during these tumultuous times. Here in the US its like the world is falling a part while this book takes you back to life as it should and could be enjoyed. Luckily I've spanned the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021 reading this, thus making it a great read for BOTH years. Thanks, Bill. I feel like we've met now, though we never have.
