adidas Men's Terrex Free Hiker Hiking Boot

The media could not be loaded. Never have I felt so excited to receive Amazon as I was today. Right away out the box fly, supporting and comfortable. Planning a winter trip to the Oregon coast. I'm preparing with the right gear so I researched and found that Adidas makes this awesome hiker.These were a must have for moist to wet outdoor conditions. Plus I aim to benefit from the ultraboost and Continental rubber sole but first trip will be the rugged desert hiking trails of Arizona.I report back later. I've had the boot for awhile now and I've also purchased two additional pair. They held up to the weather making them more durable than I thought all awhile comfortable. This is a good purchase. Switzerland alps next.

Wore these shoes for a trip to South America. Did a lot of city walking in them in addition to taking on the tough trails we hit in Patagonia. Did not break them in as much as I should have, but it wasn’t a problem at all. Did 12+ miles/day with no blisters and no issues.They truly check all the boxes: supportive, breathable, water resistant, lightweight, comfy, and still sporty looking. Highly recommend!

Purchased these for this summers hiking adventures and could not be happier! No problems passing through puddles and even some smaller ponds - the waterproofing (Goretex material) is awesome! The sole of the shoes are incredible. I usually have to use an insert for my high arches. Forgot to do so the first time wearing these and haven’t bothered to add any at all. You can feel the soft cushioning, though not the terrain underfoot and feel incredibly stable. My high arches do press up against the upper a bit, but that’s not too bothersome. Ankle support is pretty good, but nothing like dedicated hiking boots that do not look nearly as dope as these. Have recommended them countless times now, because I refuse to buy an ugly leather/canvas hiking boot.

My new favorite pair of sneakers. And I have a decent amount of sneakers that I wear. My old favorite was Salomon X Ultra with gortex (GTX). These took their place. Finally a sneaker that I like all around as much as the X Ultras. These actually might be more comfortable than the Salomons were, when they were new, but don't seem quite as tough. But definitely look and feel (to the touch) durable nonetheless. They look cool imo too.I have around a dozen sneakers in my rotation, and right now these adidas are king.

Phenomenal shoes in terms of comfort and cushioning. I have bought a half a dozen trekking and hiking shoes this past year and these are by far the most comfortable, one of the lighter ones and weather proof mid boots I currently own.The reason for the 4 stars has to do with the wear of the soles, where I want to say is quite fast. Mind you I am a fairly heavy guy, but fairly built at 244lbs and I often sport these shoes for power walks with a 50lbs weighted vest 2-5 miles at a time mostly on pavement and the mid of the soles have lost probably 2/3 of their tread. And I want to say that I don't think I have more than 150 miles on them since I have been trying and testing other brands too. And for $200 plus dollars this can get expensive quickly.Nevertheless I already bought a second pair to be on the ready when these fail completely. Definitely my go to especially on colder wet days since they are very waterproof too.

Love these shoes. They do need to be broken in. They were a tad bit tight in the ankles but that went away after a couple hikes. Amazon had these shoes listed as men’s, but I got my normal size 6 in women’s and they fit as usual. No need to size up or down.

I love to hike, but I lost my big toenail twice in an 18-month span, so I decided to search for new boots. This one is fantastic. It feels like a running shoe, but it is also sturdy enough to keep the ankle stable. It also keeps the feet dry in light rain. I don't know how they would handle extreme rain, but so far, so good.

Bought a pair of size 8M for myself and they ended up fitting like a size 9M/9.5M. Had to return but wasn’t able to get my proper size. 5 ⭐️ for the pair I purchased from another vendor that was an entire size smaller (7M). Great quality outdoor shoe that I use for every day use in the winter season.

I ended up having to order this shoe 3 times-i'm usually a 7.5-8 but ended up with a size 7. The shoe fits large and even with a size 7 I was able to put in my half orthotics in. I have bunions and the size 7 was perfect, no pain right off the get-go. Went golfing (18 holes) in this in super hot weather - mid 30's and it was fine, my feet didn't blister or was I sore at the end of the day.

Scored those at more than 60% off. Great shoes, my gf says they are extremely comfy. They fit true to size… so slightly bigger than some other adidas like the ultraboost that you usually have to size half up.

La calidad de estas botas está excelente, traen una membrana gore-Tex que los hace resistentes al agua y puedes mantener los pies secos. Tienden a ser en mi opinión media talla más grandes. El agarre de la suela es muy bueno. Y la media suela boost hace que caminar con ellos en cualquier terreno sea cómodo. El único ligero problema que les encontré, es que si los ajustas con fuerza molestan un poco en el hoyo mas alto por donde pasa la agujeta, y los tienes que soltar un poco o ponerte calceta mas gruesa. Los recomiendo para ciudad y para senderismo, aunque en el caso del senderismo algo ligero o intermedio, ya que para algo mas técnico o complicado no te dan tanto soporte en el tobillo por la naturaleza del material.
