I really liked it because it also came with the probe and the gun. They both measured the exact same tempature. I actually got distracted after turning on the stove to hat up some oil. When I smelled it I of course freaked out and removed it from the burner. Out of curiosity I wondered at what tempature it would have burst into flames? So glad I still don't know but I can tell you the heat gun showed that oil was over 700 degrees! Somebody was definitely looking over me that night.. Great product. Great price and I would definitely buy it again. All my kids keep trying to talk me out of it so I guess I will be buying 4 more for Christmas.

The media could not be loaded. I believe this unit ( mestek infrared thermometer 800c) is accurate enough according to the ThermPro thermometer with all the same features. I really like it and it comes with a carry case and meat thermometer.

For around home and in the kitchen this is great. If you understand that at 10(may be less or more) feet this is averaging a 12 inch diameter circle it helps you correct the outcome of what your temperature is. If you want the average area to be 6 inches in diameter at 30 feet, be prepared to shell out the big bucks. I have two of these, one for each RV dedicated to the kitchen. Perfect place for it.

Very inaccurate. Do not recommend using for a/c work. Probe is even more inaccurate than the IR. Would not recommend.

Bought this product for my Blackstone griddle and love it.

Produit sympa thermomètre infrarouge fais le job.Je trouve une différence de 1 à 2 degrés entre le thermomètre à aiguille et le thermomètre à infrarouge.Lequel a raison je pense celui à aiguille que l'on plonge directement dans la source de chaleur.Mais ça reste un bon produit

Good built quality, readings are accurate,l have cross checked with another non infrared device and got almost same readings.Delivery was on time, packing was good
