They do not open wide and make a lot of noise if nothing in them

doesn't work
The holder can't "shrink" to fit the phone (when "pressing the button") because to press the button the phone can't be in the holder to "shrink" to it!!!!! And pushing the phone against the (slightly elevated button at best) button to shrink the holder to size just simply does NOT work! Just junk
