It is too mild for my taste. I would like it to have a bit more kick.

Fantastic mix that is so easy to make and versatile for use with chicken, steak, shrimp, sausage...whatever you've got in the house. We turned leftover tri tip and chicken from bbq into jambalaya the next day. Can add beans and veggies too. Only thing I've found each time I've made it is that it needs more water than the recipe on bag calls for. Otherwise rice is undercooked. Make excellent leftovers too! This is a great company and jambalaya Girl has a very amazing and inspiring story. Check her out! A native of New Orleans, after Katrina she cooked jambalaya for other evacuees and raised a ton (I mean a ton!! Can't remember exact $$$ so I won't say) of money for her city! And her brand was officially born. Amazing woman. Buy this mix!!

I would probaly buy it again, fast and easy to make

I have used other store bought packaged mixes but my daughters friend is from New Orleans and told me I needed to try this mix. It is fabulous. I have used it with chicken, sausage and shrimp and it’s very good. My son who likes it spicy loves the flavor. Recommend it highly.

These are unbelievable! I'm a bit of a cajun foodie and these are just too easy and too good not to order. I like to use conecuh sausage and chicken shredded and add some black pepper and more cajun spice. After cooking I will add hot sauce to mine but to each his own after it gets in the bowl. Well worth ordering and great stocking stuffers and small gifts for those in your life that love food.

This is the one item I won't risk not having in my pantry. After making jambalaya for years, I tried this on a whim. Damn- it is good! It is quick, easy and tasty. The flavor is so authentic I often use it instead of my own recipe and even my most discerning guests don't know I didn't make it from scratch!

Great purchase -- an easy way to get NOLA cooking on weeknights when you're swamped with the kids' activities, homework, etc. Very tasty, well-seasoned but kid-friendly, and no MSG or other things I don't want for my family.
