I liked the recipes and tips on growing. If there had been pictures with each highlighted mushroom, that would have probably made my 4 star a 5 star. Like I said, quick read and handy!

This book was an easy to understand introduction to medicinal mushrooms. Their benefits, counterindications , how to grow them , and even how to cook them. My one complaint I wish there had been more pictures especially of the dangous mushrooms. I liked this book and gave already recommend it to a friend.

I've even looking for a book that has the most information for the price.Medicinal foods are what I'm most interested In and the fascinating different kinds thousands! I have found this book to be very informative and thorough with good pics and discriptions so you make informed decisions on what your foraging for! Glad I found this Bible! 5 Stars!!

Good easier reference read written in a more conversational prose, covered many high level aspects of common mushrooms

I enjoyed how thorough this book is. Great for beginners and advance alike. Clear images of how the mushrooms look. Indepth information on what each mushroom does and how plant ans harvest. I plan to get this book for family snd friends.

If you love mushrooms like me, you NEED this book. Its detailed and easy to read. I have used this book in my studies many times since receiving it! I only have the kindle version but I'm definitely going to get the hardback because there are many highlights & good notes to make! Great work!

Among all of my many mushroom guides, this may be my favorite. It’s very easy to read and understand. I’d recommend it for a beginner or a seasoned mushroom hunter. I wish this book was around when I first started foraging for mushrooms.

To begin with, beginning of the title ‘THE BIBLE OF’ is pretentious.The text under the title: “Save Thousands With The Complete Beginners Guide On:”, is misleading and untrue. I am a hobby grower, no longer a beginner, and can tell that trying to read this book is a complete waste of time.To beginners I would recommend to follow few reputable youtube channels and take notes. To those who still love to read the books, I recommend to buy Stammets’ Growing Gourmet and Medicinal Mushrooms. There is also a plenty of lighter good quality reading available from Amazon and Amazon Kindle.I did some research on the author J.P. Rae. This is not a person, rather a “group of people with specialist experience”, as they state on their facebook page.They wrote similar book on medicinal plants, but I haven’t read it and can not comment on it.The book feels like it was written by AI. Amazon seems to be the sole distributor. There is the writing on the last page: “Manufactured by amazon.com.au”.I believe that in the nearest future AI will produce high quality content. But if this book, or the parts of it were produced by AI, it was the failed attempt in my opinion.Summary of the book:- misleading title;- using large font, lot of spacing and bullet points to spread text to a total of 157 pages;- shallow content;- incorrect or partially correct statements, for example about the lions mane.Due to copyright requirements, I am not able to quote or provide photos of the texts from the book to support my comments.

Another fabulous book by this author , superbly illustrated and easily accessed information. A must for every foragers bookshelves .

Very informative and well put together. A joy to read.

This was informative and easily understood. I wonder more about the studies that disprove any of the findings in here, I’m a big mushroom fan and know they’re beneficial qualities so I’m not doubting but I think it would be worth more discussion on findings. But I am also aware that this isn’t an academic essay.

I loved the pictures and the amount of information.I can't wait to start my own and have this to reference, great job!
