Firstly, I’m not a seasoned DIYer….Needed to remove skirting board from the living room which was a combination of skirting board fixed to plasterboard stud wall and plasterboard which was dob and dab fitted. I broke the seal of the caulk with a Stanley knife and then used this tool to prise away the skirting board. It is a great tool. Skirting came away with ease and absolutely no damage to the wall using this tool. The way it is shaped means that you can use this flush to the wall and this helps to reduce any damage. The only point I noticed was I was left with some black marks on the wall which was from the black coated tool but I was already planning to paint the wall at some stage. Overall I found this simple and easy to use with the bonus of no wall damage.

Used to remove skirting boards works well if you remove screws first.

Easy to use, a must if you need to remove skirting board. Never tried to remove skirting board before. Was quoted £100.00 from handyman to do the work. Bought this for great price..less than £20.00 & did the job myself. No problem, with no damage to plasterboard. Hallway is 27 meters long ,took only a hour to finish. Saved money by not using handyman and have got a great tool for any other job to be done. Highly recommended for anyone thinking of buying.
