Beginning Map Skills, Grades 2-4

This book is easy to read and has nice images.

Excellent images, good information!

It's important to me for my daughter to have geographic skills. This book has some good worksheets and explanations of concepts. Even used a few to teach map and compass skills to her 1st grade class as an extracurricular activity. The kids had fun and so did we =)

I find that my children find the instructions easy to follow. The Map Skills series of books does a good job of gradually introducing the skills needed to reading maps.

Received the book today. The back of the book is covered in white spots. The spine of the book has a tear that goes through 30 pages of the book. The book looks used. Not happy with the quality of the product.

A very basic map book. Arrived promptly, pages can be photocopied but it is very basic and aimed at the American pupil. I used some of the sheets to put a homework booklet together for my sen groups and it was excellent for that as it was something they could do independently
