CrownRibbed Antifatigue Mat, Vinyl, 27 x 36, Gray

This vinyl mat works well as an anti-fatigue mat in my small kitchen (45"x70").For some reason, the vast majority of anti-fatigue kitchen mats are no wider than 20". It's an odd conspiracy by Big-Mat, but what can you do.I purchased this mat in the summer of 2014, and while the first one looks as used as the day is long, it still did the job. I repurchased this mat in Feb 2023 and it is the same product. The underside even has a date printed on it, which I assume is the manufacture dat.The mat is the same color all the way through, so if you have a pet who likes to scratch, this mat will not look as damaged and worn as other mats that are merely coated on the top.Cat: 1, Mat: also 1The mat has some water-resistance; this wears away over time as my 8.5 yr old mat definitely gets wet and stays wet. New mat did not absorb water spills and was easy to wipe away.Out of the box, it does not have an odor and has decent cushioning/support.The measurements are accurate (27" x 36" x 0.5").I agree with the other commenter that the main complaint is the (lack of) color. But I chose function over form, and my black kitchen tiles will have to bear with this industrial grey colored mat.

I use this mat in an unconventional way. I am a dog groomer. The top of my table was a bit worn. I place this cushioned mat on top for the comfort of the dogs to stand on. The hair sweeps right off. Water hasn't hurt it one bit. I cut it to fit.
