Great starter light or for a small indoor tent.

I replaced 2 of my older 100-150w Vivosun plates with these. The samsung LED's are great for my greenhouse and the built in fans are amazing. The controller and app made it really easy to track the temperature and humidity in the greenhouse as well. There is a probe so you can compare inside to outside temps, but I didn't need it. These are a slight bit dimmer than the prior, but they are missing leds where the Fans are, and I think that's a fair trade off. I will definitely keep building my VIVOsun outfit as the app can also control ducting and irrigation.

I have multiple set ups using nothing but VIVOsun products , they work exactly as they should and the company is very good with communication and providing solutions to any issues you have, which is rare

This thing randomly won't turn on fans or exhaust fans or lights or the problem that tells the inside temp just turns off and the screen shows no inside Temps This is not quality products. Can't call customer service they don't answer the phone and emailing them its been days with no response and this is like the 8th issue I've had with their products. At this point I recommend spending the extra funds for ac infinity products as I know immabout to switch and throw this garbage away

I heard a lot of great things about this grow light and controller. A friend is using a similar setup and I’m hoping this will give me similar results. The light has 3 separate light spectrums for seedlings, veg, and flower. Not many grow lights have IR and UV, so this is awesome to have included. I can’t wait to have the capabilities on my iPhone too! The grow hub controller will let me program and monitor from anywhere and it’s also able to control my exhaust fan.

These lights are modular and bright, with built-in fans to keep them cool. The fans do emit a kind of annoying high-pitched whine, which I could do without. I'm probably not so jazzed about how each section requires its own power cable. But I guess if I can get rid of the other fans in the tent, I'm ahead of the game.This system has MANY wires. With the power cables and the control pad cables, the tops of the lights are a rat's nest of cables. The package comes with some twist ties if I were really upset about it.The hanging system for these lights is awesome... very flexible. Four rings are on each light corner, and the hanging brackets can fit into any corner. You have complete flexibility, and the distance between the hang point and the top of the lamp is relatively short, so you can pull the lights closer to the top of the tent and grow bigger plants.I also like the fact that the fans cool not just themselves but the plants as well.This unit also has an electronic control center for all devices. It controls the lights -- timed on and off; the fans in the units, and the exhaust -- if you have one that works with this system. (I don't.) The control center comes with an environment probe -- humidity and temperature, and I assume you can program the control center to behave differently when the temperature gets too high or too low. The truth is, I'm only using the control center to control the fans, so they don't make that high-pitched whine I mentioned. Using the control center, you can adjust the intensity of the fans (off, low, med, high). Without the control pad, the fans and the lights are on max.One of the features of the controller and the vivosun app is that you can set the fans to blow down onto the plants in a variable simulated wind mode. The fans cycle change their speed from low to high as if the wind was blowing, but it doesn't do it constantly. It'll do it for a couple of minutes and then stop for awhile. My old fans tended to dry out the leaves of my plants, especially the ones closest, but this seems like a much better setup.The free app really does let you tap into great features that you don't get otherwise. They have separate configurations for seedlings, vegetative and flowering stages, too.The best thing about these grow lights is how cool they are. Other lights I've tried bringing the temperature inside the tent to dangerously high levels. These lights only bring my tent up to the low 80s. (It's winter now... my experience might be different in the summertime.)Despite the high cost of this system, I think this is a huge step forward in light systems, and I highly recommend them.
