Fantastic for FLAN!
These are perfect for individual sizes. I used them to make flan. I steamed them and they came out perfect! I also baked chocolate mousse in these and it turned out wonderful. The depth and width are a great ratio for individual sized treats. I'm looking forwards to making other cream style desserts in these, like maybe a custard. The dishes are solid, feel like quality, are smooth, and the color is very attractive. I highly recommend these! I would buy these again.

Make Sure the Sizing Works for You
Ramekins come in a wide variety of sizes. These are 5 oz; 4 inches across. I have others in different sizes (not on purpose). That said, these look very elegant and are a great size for a rich creme brulee, even though most recipes suggest 4 oz ramekins. Just wish they had a few more colors.

Wildlife dishes
I used these as food and water dishes in my crates to rehab wildlife. They’re easy to clean and don’t tip over like the metal bowls.

Good looking and accurately sized
I just got these ramekins a few days ago and I've already made crème brûlée in them twice. They are the perfect size for the recipe I use to fill each to the brim. My wife loves the colors and everyone loves the desserts. They're good quality pieces and do the job. Five ounces of water will fill a ramekin to just below the brim.

Not bad but not as described.
The listing states: "USER-FRIENDLY DESIGN - These dipping bowls are sturdy, durable and stack well. Easy to clean in dishwasher. These ramekins with proper depth can hold dips or dessert, convenient for the old or the kids. "Due to the thinness, these break easily. I have been using ceramic ramekins as pet dishes for years and have dropped them hundreds of times (usually just a few inches). I have never had them shatter like these do with the slightest "drop" (e.g. sliding off a rug onto the tile). They are not bad, just not as thick as you might expect. What would normally amount to no damage or a small chip in a porcelain ramekin results in these shattering and ending up all over the kitchen which means we have to do an emergency evacuation of all of the pets so they don't try to ingest the food with bits of dish mixed into it. It is too much drama for me after the 2nd shattering so I am switching brands. These also do not stack well. They stack precariously. It's not a big problem but I wouldn't put "stack well" in the description ("stackable" would be more accurate). If they were just a bit thicker and the base was a bit narrower than the top so that they did stack nicely, they'd be as good as they can get. I do not think they are very suitable for kids or "the old" as the listing suggests due to their fragility. Also, when they come out of the fridge and develop a little condensation they are very slippery. A ribbed ramekin might be better for feeble or little hands. Despite all of this, they are super cute and not too expensive ($16 at this time) so I will keep them in our collection.
