Last year, my dog, Koconut and I’s first summer together, I discovered that he LOVES the water. He especially loves to fetch balls thrown way out into the waves from shore, to the point of complete exhaustion. I decided it would be wise to buy him a life vest. However, because I’m so extra, I wanted one that was SUPER cute, functional enough for both of us to feel comfortable with him swimming anywhere, and that also fit his strange german shepherd-Pitbull proportions (slender torso, short back, wide shoulders, stubby neck, super broad chest). The first two Amazon brands I tried made life vests that were cute and functional, but either too big or too small (rubbing against his manhood or unable to close across his chest). One’s strap also began to fray and break with all the rough water play. After trying two different sizes (L, XL) across two different Amazon brands, with no success, I was ready to give up. The first two brands I tried were visually identical to this one (grey, velcro/snap buckle, shark fin, for big dogs) and I didn’t think the only remaining brand of shark fin life vests could be that different or any better than the first two. The Queenmore jacket was also more expensive than the other two by almost $10!BUT BOY, WAS I WRONG!!!!I am excited to share that this vest not only met, but EXCEEDED my expectations! It comes in so many cute styles & colors, and a size for every dog, so summer fun in the water is open to all! The velcro closures make it easy to get on my dog’s body, while the snap buckles help keep it securely in place for my peace of mind and my dog’s safety. I did end up getting the XL because while the L fit his chest, the velcro wouldn’t fasten under his body. So as a result, I do have to cross the chest straps over one another to make the neck hole smaller. I don’t mind doing this, because he’s still secure and it doesn’t look bad. Dogs with regular proportions, should be fine, but if your dog is in between sizes, I’d recommend sizing up. The vest is SUPER lightweight, compact enough to be stored under the backseat of my SUV for impromptu swimming sessions, and my dog’s range of motion is uninhibited when he wears it.The best part, however, has to be how children and adults alike are DELIGHTED when they see him. “THERE’S A SHARK IN THE WATER,” they all cry with joy and laughter! Many other dog owners have asked where I got it from because of how secure and comfortable it looks on Koconut. He loves the attention he gets in it too, and personally, I think it helps make him look less “scary” as an “aggressive breed.”Lastly, the fin stays mostly upright, but it does have the tendency to flop to the left a little when soaked. Nothing a few little wire or plastic reinforcements can’t fix, for my crafty people!All in all, I’d give this vest a 9/10! Would HIGHLY recommend!Update:I guess it was SO cute that the neighborhood thieves noticed too. 🙃 It got stolen from my front yard while it was drying. 😒 Purchasing another and holding onto it like a prized possession. 😤

Love these life jackets that fit my basset boys perfectly. The one in the shark jacket LOVES the water so having a neon green fin helping him stand out is wonderful and adorable.

The media could not be loaded.  Purchased to help our 65lb PB swim more efficiently (she loves the water but her rear end sinks a little when she swims). Fits perfect and definitely helps. She loves it! And it's so adorable on her! Have used it several times and it is holding up pretty well. Wish the webbing was a little thicker but for the price it works. The inside material is a little thin and I can already see it will wear down faster than I'd like. Solid 4 out of 5 as its great but wish the material was a little bit more durable around the neck area.

Havent made it to the water yet but this jacket is adorable!! Very well made, great quality. I bought the Large size for my English bulldog who has a 32” chest and weighs 55 pounds.

Great quality product, true to measurements. Only thing that is a little hard to adjust are the straps but they should be firm and hard to move so overall great product

Our dachshund loves her life jacket for swim adventures in the ocean. Easy to put on, and fits her well. Also, very adorable.

Our Dog can swim, but occasionally would struggle somewhat when her momentum got restricted. This dog vest eliminated that problem. Added bonus is she’s more relaxed thus less paw nails scratches when she panicked during momentum losses. The handle on top allows us to guide her to the pool steps when it’s time to exit the pool. Great product! After her initial fitting of her life vest (slight struggle) she now sits still for us to out it on her. Almost as if she wants it on. Dog shark!

Bought this for my 7lbs chi boy for us to go paddle boarding. It fit him perfectly, and we received lots of compliments. The material and buckles on the pfd are of good quality. Very happy with my purchase. My boy can swim and I feel confident that he has the extra float he needs to keep him safe if he were to fall into the water.

Cogí xxl para perra de 32kg, la talla perfecta, el diseño me encanta! Falta probar en el agua pero pinta muy bien!
