This Japanese handleless pot is great for people who have a very small kitchen, and need many pots. The beauty of this pot is that they don't have handles, and so one can have a whole range of sizes that perfectly nest in one another. The downside is that they don't have handles, but you will need to get a pair of heavy duty pliers/pinchers to move/pick up the pots.These pots are thick aluminum, and will not warp, bend or dent easily. The distinctive pattern outside is not only decorative but also serves to make the pot heat up faster. The dents make the metal more dense and therefore heat up faster, at least that's what they say. The pots don't come with lids, but traditionally they use thick Japanese cedar drop lids, which keep foods under the liquid and help cook faster.I suggest getting at least two or three of these pots, and the pinchers. I know they are expensive but they will last a life time as they are made very well and can withstand even the most abusive kitchen.
