T-Ze231 Compatible Label Tape Replacement for Brother PTouch TZe-231 TZe231Tape, 6 Packs 0.47" x 26.2'(12mm x 8m), Black on White

I love these labels for my garden markers because they last the whole season. This cartridge didn't go in as easy as the brand cartridge, but it works. It's a little more difficult to peel the backing but I would buy again for the price difference.

So far this much more affordable version of Brother PTouch TZe-231 are great. I will update this review if the quality of the labels doesn't hold up or if the end of the cartridge fails or anything.

Works as well as the gem tapes and comes in a great pack. Highly recommended.

I acquired this labeler, a Brother P-touch, as a gift a few years ago. Took me awhile to use the tape that came with it. Recently I was able to find the right tape for my labeler on Amazon. I use the labeler often. The photo shows a box of jars with labels on the lids. We have a lot of miscellaneous nuts, bolts, screws, nails, etc, and before I started separating the items by type, they were a mixed-up mess. The labels are clear and easy to make and apply. The ink has not faded from the labels I made for tool boxes, jars and storage places over the years. They stay well adhered for years yet peel off easily when the contents of a container change and a need for a new label comes up. I really am happy with the quality and price, as well as the prompt shipping. Thank you so much for making it a little bit easier to keep our garage and workspaces tidier!

I started using this tape immediately and very pleased with quality. It's a less expensive alternative to the Brother brand and perfectly compatible with my P-touch D220. The print quality is excellent, adhesion sufficient for my needs and it's super easy to peel the tape off the backing due to a continuous cut on backside, see the pics for reference. I also had to reapply a couple of the labels I made due to crooked placement and did so with no issues and without having to reprint anything. It's a great value for the amount of tape received.

I purchased the TZe231 Compatible Label Tape Replacement for Brother PTouch Label Maker. These labels print, and adhere just like the actual brother PTouch labels. The 6 pack of the compatible brand labels cost me $28.91 w/ tax. If I had purchased the actual Brother PTouch brand, the 6 pack would have cost me $81.75 w/tax, that's over a 50% savings. These tape cartridges fit both our P-Touch machines. We have a PT-H100 and a P-Touch 1750. The cartridges fit fine. They print well. I don't see a difference in print quality between these and the original OEM cartridge printing. They have the split backing which makes it easier to remove the backing and place the label where you want. The only thing I cannot attest to is how long the labels will stay stuck. Only time will tell me that part. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase.
