As a newbie to music and clarinet, I started with some online courses and bought this book.Compared to online resources, the biggest advantage is plenty of basic music staff for clarinet. You know clarinet is transposing instrument so you cannot just find a piano staff to practice.It also has a lot of children's songs which reminds me of my child's memory.If you are new to music like me, I'd recommend to start with this book and also learn some theoretical music knowledge.

Was exactly what they needed for first year in band .

Purchased as a replacement for the one my daughter lost. They use this one in her band class and she lost it over the summer. Similar price as the one from school and I didn't have to wait for her teacher to get her a new one.
