No directions with the product. The brush box directions never said to peal off the outer layer.

I love this stuff. Confused why it's getting average reviews. Super easy to use, just make sure you exfoliate your lips a ton or the pigment will be darker on the dry spots. wouldn't use on chapped lips. I dab a TINY bit of argan oil or chapstick on my lips and then paint this on with a small makeup brush. When you peel it off it leaves the sweetest summer-y stained lips, almost like you were sucking on a Popsicle or eating berries or something.

The color is more intense than I thought it would be. Also, it goes on fairly easily, but one has to be very careful to get it only on one's lips - it stains everything! One other note, after I put it on I was constantly tempted to close my mouth and rub my lips together, but that will ruin it, so you have to tolerate getting a very dry mouth and the odd sensation of the skin on your lips being pulled tight for a good 2-3 minutes before you can peel it off.

color was not at all as shown on package and was somewhat difficult to apply with out clumping. Color did last for several hours but I didn't care for color.

Hard to apply as it doesn't cover or go on evenly. Also gets on teeth and stains fingers. Messy stuff. Stain is ok once you get it to work but colors are off. Ok I guess

Got this directly from the company. Goes on best with a brush. Use a blowdryer to set it for one minute. I liked it! Especially that I can use my favorite lip gloss over it!

Product worked horrible!!!! Don't waste your money!
